Difficult one kayal looks the real deal he has impressed me in the past two games in centre mid i think you need a screener to protect the back four and a offensive to link with the attack cant make up my mind still for lenny these are the headaches you want when you are a managerC T I D

This I think Ledley has looked alot better alongside a more physical player like Kayal or even Brown, I didn't like the Ki & Ledley partnership at all, neither of them are great tacklers even though Ki has added this to his game, I just think he's quite slow!

 

Kayal and Ledley but i suppose its good to have enough midfielders to change it about

 

this.

 

Has to be Kayal and Ledley. They looked good together at the start of the season and when you take into account them shutting down Rangers and their performance on a * awful pitch today they have to start.

Well that sounds pretty like a Kayal and Broony combo. The sitting role in theory could be done by either of them but its not Broony's natural position. Kayal could provide the cover he has rarely had to get forward like he did in his Hibs days. Ki should fight with Broony for that attacking CM role although when Kayal is injured Broony can do DM and that will leave room for Ki. A lot of injuries happen so its likely there will be a lot of shuffling is the CM.

As for the others, I dont rate Ledley. He is neither a dynamic attacker or a natural DM. Crosas is not hard enough to do DM either. I would see them as being well down the pecking order.

There was a very interesting observation by a poster on CQN today. He said we should never forget we are not playing football, we are playing Scottish football which is an entirely different game despite the rules being the same as everywhere else. When this is forgotten we never seem to be successful. That is why for me a Kayal-Broony CM would destoy a Ledley-Crosas type one every day in the SPL if they were in opposition. Celtic managers who forget the reality of Scottish football, our weather, our pitches etc and get pretentious have never been successful.

while we are short of strikers I could live with that although I would put Maloney in the AM role ahead of McCourt if fit. I certainly totally agree with the rest of the MF four as you have laid them out. People might say that it loses us width putting Ledley wide left but Izzi is so ridiculously attacking that I think it might actually help our balance to a a more CM-like midfielder on the left.

We could play kayal and brown as holding
Mids and have McCourt ledley and Forrest bombing forward. Supporting hooper then bring on Freddie when things are hard to break down

 

Depends on the opposition. Kayal and Brown against the better teams and Ki and either one against anyone that puts 10 men behind the ball

Don't think Wilson has done much wrong. I think that may be the reason, but I would try him and see if he's better than Cha at some point
