Bull * we need at least one new striker in, but I'm not sure if thid guy was ever him

 

He's been playing winger mostly, until he was promoted striker somewhere in the 2008 season. At the time he played striker, his team had the most boring defensive minded coach in the norwegian top division.
It's hard being an attack all by yourself.

He has scored 5 goals in 17 international matches, which has been a few levels higher then the ''tippeliga''. Norway neither known for being an all out offensive team.

 

dont worry i am glad we told them to go * off if he was worth more than a million i am sure lennon would have paid that but to be honest i felt Kapo was pretty much the exact same player so was only really being bought as a squad player.
Plus i hear dwayne de rossi (guy from toronto) was coming over in a loan spell the same as beckham while the mls if off.

I am sure lennon has more and better targets

 

I dont know ..If we have stopped negotiations then obviously there is a difference of opinion between the clubs on valuation ..The player himself wants to come so i dont think its an issue there ...
I can understand peoples frustrations but its not the Boards or Lawwells fault here ..If they value a player at say £1m they are not going to go much more than that to get him .. We have to be realistic here ..Gone are the days of £5-6m players ...We have to find talent on a budget ...Izzy is a prime example of this ..We will not be held to Ransom by clubs trying to get more for a player than he is worth just because we have money ...Well done celtic if this is the case ....
Brann now have a player that doesnt want to play for them and he will be upset by the way his club have handled affairs on the transfer ...

 

Just read the sky sports article re us dropping our interest in hunskelper. Another article with no direct quotes and lots of "sources close to sky sports news". We saw this with the huns transfer with jelavic and they got him did they not? I still reckon he'll be a bhoy before the transfer window shuts.

 

We are taklking about arguing over 800K for a Striker. You try and get any decent striker for less than 2 Million, it just does not happen anywhere. Oh but this shower of * cheapskates will. These * are destroying my club and my desire to watch them and its painfull!!

i would have stokes starting before goodwillie any day of week.stokes has been getting abuse off fans since hes been put out on wing and upfront himself and its annoyin,soon as he bags a few goals people will be lovin him.

 

I never wanted him due to i do not think he is the type of player we need .

But after seeing what Lennon had to say on him it was clear we wanted him and he wanted him now , i am getting sick to death with the way the club deal with these things , Lennon should have just said he was not his player and should not have made it out he wanted him .

I agree if his club are being * over the fee and i do not want to see us waste what little funds we have . so if the club do not think its value then i will go with it .

Just * me off the whole way we deal with transfers .

I agree mate, Stokes anyday but I'd prefer Goodwillie to Huseklepp.

it could just be that we're pulling out for now to show Brann we're serious in our valuation, and if they won't take what's on offer then we'll move on, they will want to shift him after he has publically stated he'd like to leave, so i'm not ruling this one out.

 

Brann will never give into this strange tactic. If Huseklepp stays he must continue to do his best, he is a professional player, for gods sake. Your management really live up to the myth about scots being cheap. Laughable. Goodnight!

 

On Gerry mccullochs (stv news) Twitter he said a Norwegian journo told him he was fast good in the air and more than decent on the ground. Sounds better than goodwillie to me! Also think there are other better players than goodwillie - sammon, Kyle, templeton etc
