1 in 4 is not the greatest goal to game ratio, so i'll reserve judgement until and if he signs, and then only after a few games.

The last two seasons have been good for him though.

I'm worried this won't happen. Surely he's too good to be playing for a relegation-battling Norweigan team. Surely they must let him go.

He looks a bit * IMO. We should be doing all we can to get Shane Long, a right good player who would fit in perfectly in the SPL and score goals for fun.

    Based on what?

And Long is good, but he's never been one to score goals for fun.

His scoring record and the videos of him on youtube. He has a very clumsy look about him IMO.

I belive playing for a top side in a weaker league that Long would definitely increase his scoring ratio.

    One report says he's 26 another that he's 22.

Anyone actually know what age he really is?

His scoring record has been good for the last two seasons ffs. He's not clumsy at all, he's really quick and skilful.

Fine, but I've seen him play against Ireland, France and Scotland. He scored in all those games, and he was quality.

No offence, but Huseklepp is more than ready for a bigger league than the Scottish. Celtic and Rangers belong to a bigger league aswell, but the teams that are behind the two Glasgow-teams aren`t better than the best norwegians. If you get a hold of our key player you have a scoop on your hands. After my opinion he is the nordic player that is closest to Zlatan, and he will grow with better players around him.

At his best he is an attack on his own.

    Hope everything works out ok.

sounds just like sammy, but if he signs i doubt he'll be used as the main striker, it would either be in support of hooper or one of the wings imo

Welcome to the site. I hope we get him but if he is indeed good enough to play at a higher level then he could impress here first then eventually move on. Petrov and Viduka are a couple of examples of players who impressed at Celtic and moved onto the premiership.
