Duff?? Hes well past his best, Dunne does look a bit slow on the turn but has great awarness and leadership, exactly what weve been missing at CH. Always thought Wenger should have signed Dunne and Given as Arsenal have always struggled in those positions, would love to see both at Celtic.

Dunne is too slow now, if he was paired with a fast CB & he played as the Davie Weir old heid type - then yes.

But we'd have to buy a fast CB.

He'd probably get played with Madge & that would be a disaster - we've got that already for nothing.

Ireland is a * but a good player, i'd happily take both on loan. Dunne would be exactly what we need at the moment. This is one of the rumours i hope is true!

Ive been saying to the lads for ages that we should be breaking the bank to sign Dunne. I know everyone gets hyped up about Keane and Bellamy etc but I would much rather break the bank and sign two outstanding CBs over those two any day of the week.

Dont rule out a defender and striker signed in time for ibrox because lennon knows he must win this game or he might be gone ,look at keane we signed him at midnight and he played the following day ,things will be put in place for players just now and we just wont know till sat who ?

Dunne would * walk this league, too slow my * theres not exactly many fast CBs out there that we could buy anyway. Hes one of the top CBs down there and has been for years club or country.

He's just like what we have. When he is confident he can be very good.

But he's so fragile, when his confidence takes a bit of a knock he is a big bumbling nightmare who gifts goals and gets himself sent off.
