    I take it you have never watched Richard Dunne play. He is Irelands best CB since Paul Mc Grath. If we signed him he would be the best defender to play in Scotland for ages.

    watch him all the time, i disagree! gives the ball away too much, makes poor decisions, gives away goals and too many red cards.

    got to agree, think he is far to error prone.and on top of that, his wages.do we really want to spend that sort of dough on a centre half??

    Guys there is a player suggestion thread in transfer rumours to talk about individual players, this thread was for what area of the team should be the priority, not which players you think would/would not do a good job for us.

    Other than Hooper, the other strikers are backup/bench level, not first picks IMO. I would actually make striker the priority even over CH now. However, we do need another CH too. I would rather spend all our money on those players. I am worried by reports of Lenny looking at positions like CM and winger where we are coming down with options and the Freddie signing totally baffles me.

    loovens
    hooiveld
    maloney
    murphy
    hinkel
    zaluska

    bring in a keeper and 2 central defenders and we can start to harvest some of these players.

    i would keep hinkel as he served us well, loovens is a goner,we need a back up keeper,we havnt seen enough of hooiveld to make a decision, i think maloney could go if the right money ( couple of mill ) was offered we shouldnt bring in anymore attacking minded players :shamrock:

    If we don't sign one cracking striker, Lawwell must go. Simple as that. Hearts may well over-take us if we don't. I'd rather have Kevin Kyle than everybody bar Hooper at the moment. Possible Samaras is better for certain games. But if we go Forrest and McGinn for example, we'd be much better off with Kyle!

    Anyway, what we have is far from good enough and if PL falls for the same trick again it's laughable.
