  1. Spot on, I never agree with booing, would be a rare day I would but it just so happened to be when the extra 10K of fans turn up for one of our biggest games for the season the boos come back.

We have to be realistic as well though, it's a still very young team that's learning from these experiences as well as Ronny. We won't forget and neither will the team but it needs to be put to the back of our minds though, move on and improve. This is when the best players step up and make a difference.

  2. 'Look at us, look at us'

What the * are you talking about? Are you being deliberately obtuse? The banners were up for about a minute and a half today, the point was made. The team were then supported after that and will be supported as usual in the weeks to come.

  3. Just because they called the team gutless(which was right) doesn't mean they are no longer supporters:smiley-laughing002:
90% of the forum was saying the same thing.

  4. We're in Europa League because we never turned up in Malmo, that team was more than capable of getting past Malmo. Luck played it's part as well, they were very lucky in the 1st leg, and also even the draw for the qualifier. Zagreb got the easiest draw and got into CL even though we are a better than them. It's not as simple as everyone makes it out to be.

  5. I've yet to meet anyone all week that hasn't been using expressions like "they were gutless in Malmo" makes you wonder what is going through the minds of those that booed a banner with similar words on it.

Personally I am not into just turning up, clapping politely as if all is ok and handing over my money like a lapdog and put up with * talk like "we were scared on the night in Malmo" when I know the truth was we are not good enough, not getting proper funding from the board to take on Europe and having to put up with a managers doomed to failure tactics who is still learning at this level.

Get behind the team....yes of course, ignore we have deep problems and stay silent.....no chance

  6. Yep.

  7. But they didn't. I just can't see how the banner did any harm. They did support the team today, we did get three points but the point was made.

  8. Bit like this post :87:

(Have you read the last 4 or 5 pages ?)

  9. I know Crow :50:

  10. :50:

  11. Aye.

The banner was completely unnecessary, regardless if the message is right or not. We're all hurting after Tuesday night, publicly mocking the players and the board is not going to get a positive reaction from either.

  12. I could tell you why its important that a club makes a profit but I have a feeling you wont agree given your spend it all and then spend some more attitude :smiley-laughing002:

Anyway lets deal with your original post and your question of 'What am I talking about'. What you said is below.

    So I asked you

So again, can you say what level of manageable debt is sustainable for a non profit making club ?

It seems neither did he and I suspect he wont be either.

  13. :97:

  14. How do you know it isn't ?

How do you know it is going to have a negative affect ?

  15. About time the board were told that a lot of us don't give a * about profits. They have been doing things on the cheap for way too long now.

  16. Big time

  17. If you budget to get into the Europa League that's were you'll end up. Yeah sometimes you'll get unlucky and you'll go out regardless but it shows a lack of ambition. We've sat on our arses and hoped we'd have enough to qualify and passed up a * load of money in the process.

  18. Boyata, janko, ciftci and Allen. If the board think that these are the signings of a champions league club then clueless was generous.

  19. What don't you get ? You said you don't think the club should make a profit so that's non profit making. I asked you what level of debt is manageable and sustainable in these circumstances ? Although your last post has highlighted the lack of business experience you have.

I think, being honest, it would be unkind of me to continue this, as you are a bit out of your depth here.
I just get very irked when I read people stating that the club should spend spend and then back it up with utter nonsense.
For the record I do think we could spend a bit more, however it guarantees nothing as we have seen against Malmo. A team that cost less to assemble than scep did to buy.
