Who has claimed to be offended by it?

What a club we are becoming, selling our best players and not even trying to replace them properly, not able to compete and getting embarrassed in Europe and now the life and soul of our club is being driven out.

I don't usually agree with you on many things, but you're absolutely spot on here.

Yeah I really, really hope it isn't true. Hideous, unforgivable behaviour if it is.

starting to feel unwelcome by the club... then on top of that the way the * ticket office treat me is * * me off too... I spend thousands upon thousands each season... and for what?.... you get no * thanks for it.

Of course they weren't inundated with thousands of Celtic fans complaints. Corporate jargon speel nothing more.

    That is my biggest fear.

If our support looses the Irish Republican side to it..i think it will be time to hang up the scarf and call it a day.

Celtic isn't just a football team to me, like it is to the apologists. If the fan culture dies so does the club.

Great banner, worth the fine. The perfect message at the perfect time.

    * UEFA, * Lawwell and * every one who was offended by the banner.

I don't know what it is I'm actually supporting anymore

Glad to hear it :50: Have zero problem with Celtic fans going at each other over football topics, but to see some of our own fans crying over a banner displayed in the stadium is pathetic. Who the * actually complained to the club over the banner? The same sort of person who rings up TV channels complaining if they hear a 'curse word' before 9pm. Losers the lot of them.

    Yeah, I agree.

If this is the case, then they should change the colours and also the name of the club to just Glasgow or something, because it'll have nothing to do with what it once was.

Surely this kind of thing should only motivate supporters to actively seek change, and not merely give up?

The most important aspect of Celtic, throughout the club's history, are the supporters. They have in the past shaped the direction of the club, from ousting prominent figures to saving the club from extinction etc. This issue should only be used as a means to kick the supporters into action again.

I bet you ten to a penny there was more complaints made by Celtic fans than lurking Sevconites.

Lawwell in reality will be greatful for that banner, its helping deflect that he is in fact at fault with everything that is wrong with celtic at the moment, instead of issuing statements about a * banner, why not explain to the people who pay his wages why the * we went into the CL without a * striker of any note

Spot on. If UEFA have banned political expression at games, will I be allowed to sing Flower Of Scotland at national games? You know, the song that references the Scottish Wars of Independence. Wallace & Sands fought for the same ideals. The hypocrisy is incredible.

    * UEFA, * anyone who wants our club to be some soulless, apolitical shell & * those in charge of our club if their "inundated with complaints" line is another lie.

Terrorist or a dreamer, savage or a brave, depends whose votes you're trying to catch, whose face you're trying to save.

Picture of Wallace and Sands and our national flags.
