    The Green Brigade has cut out 'illicit chanting' like no other at Celtic Park to be honest, no more Roaming in the Gloaming, changed the words to the Neil Lennon - like me and you he's a Provo too. Only sing ones like Boys of the Old Brigade and Roll of Honour, not like the Go On Home British Soldiers etc. replaced it with the likes of the Lonesome Boatman, which is just brilliant by the way. Also the PIRA chants as well.

    All which were crowd favourites, people don't really acknowledge that.

    Really annoys me that they don't get credit for that. Like I always say, when you look at it, they do a pretty decent job avoiding the extremes of automaton conformity on the one hand and rebelling for rebellion's sake on the other.

    No it is not. It absolutley cuts to the heart of the issue. Nobody is saying that The Green Brigade been banned form section 111 is in anyway close to been as important as supporting the families of the Liverpool fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough but it does show how football supporters can show solidarity for other teams supporters.
