It is standard everyone who enters the ground with a bag gets searched

 

My girlfriend bag was searched last time I took her to a game. She didn't consider it harassment.

 

It is obvious Peter Lawell has control over these police and has insisted every bag be searched, must be some kind of master plan to stop rebel songs being sung!

 

Has your girlfriends door also been booted in at 6 in the morning to arrest her on bullshit charges or has this also happened to your girlfriend?

 

does your girlfriend deal with the stuff the GB do every game they attend.

 

I don't think there's any doubt the GB have been and continue to be subject to police harassment, however I hardly think some bag searches constitute harassment.

I can see where they're coming from here... I * near flipped out and handcuffed myself to a lamp post in political protest last time a copper asked me what was in my pockets as I was going into the stadium...

 

You get bags searched at every sporting event these days ....Dont see what the hassle is to be fair ......easilyoffended.com strikes again

 

members dealing with Trumped up charges everyday jobs being lost thanks to the * they get from police yeah that's ok as long as never happens to you then people don't care.

 

No one is saying they don't care about that, but claiming bags getting searched is harassment is just ridiculous.

some people don't care from what i read on other forums the thread i posted was taken down right away as according to some i was anti celtic.

 

If the Green Brigade are going to * about with things like flares and smoke bombs then they shouldn't be surprised when the police want to search them.

 

Completely unrelated to this discussion. No-one's saying anything about anything else the group has been through at this point, all people are saying is that having bags searched hardly constitutes police harassment.

 

do you have any proof its the Green Brigade using smoke bombs for a group that has 80 Official members they seem to get the blame for every bit of Pyro at celtic games.

 

it happens every game for GB members tho not just every few games
