  1.
  2. I meant to say intimidating atmosphere before because any other atmosphere is worthless to the team.

The drums are * annoying and i'm pretty sure they are gone now anyway.

I appreciate the apocalypse banner as much as I appreciate the '* Uefa' banner.

  3. Sween , I agree with you 100% about the hard work Lawwell has put in and the excellent job he has done; but the treatment of the GB that he has taken part in has gone beyond the petty harassment they face most games, it has involved arrests and loss of livelihood for several of their members. IMO, the seriousness of these matters means that the excellent job he has done and the fact that yesterday was supposed to be a day of celebration were not sufficient reason for the GB and others to have to withhold their response.

I am Also unsure why you accuse them of "playing" the socialist rebel. The impression I have is that these are their genuine beliefs rather than an attention-seeking affectation.

All that said, I think yesterday may have been a tactical error by the GB, as I think it may turn Lenny against them (he seems fiercely loyal to Lawwell) and that in turn may lose them some popularity. I have the strong impression that Lawwell has changed his tactics and is not ashamed to use Lenny to achieve his goal regarding the GB.

  8. Not true. Firstly many people say that the party atmosphere they create makes it more fun to be at CP, they get a better match day experience for their money. Secondly it makes matches more enjoyable for the players and that might help keep them, even Lenny seems to have noticed this. The atmosphere for the Barça game was brilliant and clearly inspired the players; but I wouldn't call it intimidating in the way that certain Turkish grounds are, or we ourselves used to be when Rangers came.

  10. So you would rather no drums and no Green Brigade at all? You'd probably get a job with Strathclyde Police as you seem to fit the bill.

The atmosphere they create may not be intimidating as such, but that's not the type of atmosphere Celtic fans in general represent, we are known for our partying/singing. How do you know it doesn't help the team? Neil Lennon has specifically mentioned them a few times in speeches and every time we score an important goal at that end the players go straight to that area.

UEFA and Fifa are corrupt to the core, but that banner was detrimental to the club, but it happened once and was pretty much acknowleged by all involved that it was a bad move.

  11. Maybe in you're head.

Although the atmosphere for Barca was good it's clearly degraded from Milan,Barca,Man Utd and all the way back to Juventus in the MON and WGS eras.

  19. Nothing wrong with standing up for fellow fans if stewards and police are being heavy handed if he was genuinely doing something wrong fair enough but you're obviously going to stick together especially after all they've has to deal with this season.
