    I agree

Why do you believe he does this, if we assume he does? What would be in it for Lawwell to pick a fight with our own fan base?

I agree. But likewise, if you act like an * and someone calls you are * you shouldnt take offence either. I am not one for taking offence, but just as the GB are free to boo whoever they like, so are other fans free to criticise the GB. On a day of celebration, and after a season in which Lawwell and his team have worked very hard to deliver success, booing is pretty poor form in my opinion.

All sounds a bit self indulgent to me - which is something quite common when it comes to the green brigade.

How the * has Lawell worked hard to deliver us success this season? What do you base that on?

  3. In what way are the Green Brigade self indulgent?

I sit at the opposite end of the stadium to the Green Brigade and saw and heard a few boo's around me as well so it wasn't just the Green Brigade.

Well what do you think a chief exec of a company the size of celtic does all day?

Under Lawwell the club has reduced its debt by something like £31m while dominating Scotland and enjoying European success. Our finances are the strongest they have ever been in the modern era, the gap between us and the rest in Scotland is the widest in our history, we have expanded our brand globally while cutting costs and despite being in a poor league, and the club is working on building improvements around the stadium for next season.

He has done a fantastic job. Why do you not believe he has worked hard to deliver success?

I think they like playing "rebel" and I think the like the attention that it brings. There is a lot they do that is fantastic and I think they are capable of creating a brilliant atmosphere. But I also think they like to get on their soap boxes and they like to be heard. Yesterday should have been a wholly positive day when everyone celebrated together and just appreciated the collective effort people have put in over the course of the season. Not a chance for the GB to let us know their opinions of our board (as if we didnt already know them)

    Peter Lawell is a * *

I`ll give my support to fellow fans over him every day of the week

  8. It seems to me that a number of fans disagree with the songs they sing so they try to bash them by saying things like "they think their better than everyone else", "they're up themselves" etc. Which has never really came across to me.

It wasn't just Green Brigade that were booing by the way. Many other fans(including myself) also took the opportunity to let Lawwell know what we thought of his collusion with the police.

He has worked hard so hard so he has more pennies in his pocket, as a result we are in no debt. I am so * pleased we have no debt because we choose the cheap option every time in our signing policy.

The improvements around the stadium are being done bu the Council because Parkhead will host the commonwealth games, yet it's meant to be the great Lawell according to you.

The same Lawwell who does nothing to defend our great support, when some of us are getting our houses raided for no apparent reason. Should a chief executive not come out and say something on that subject if he was so great?

Nah, he would rather publicly criticize Stokes for attending a friends funeral.

    * Peter Lawwell.

I dont think they think they are better than everyone else, but I do think they are up themselves. Absolutely. I would say any self styled rebel group who show off their rebellious self by taking pictures of burning seats and sticking them on their website is rather self indulgent. The fact a group of guys going to support their favourite football team want their own mission statement suggest they are up themselves.

But as I say, I do love a lot of what the GB contribute to the atmosphere at celtic park. But yesterday shouldnt have been a time for them to boo our own board

Only Celtic fans could be disappointed in someone who has delivered success and prosperity to the club. I love the Green Brigade but they need to realise they are not Celtic football club and Peter Lawwell has basically made us the debt free, successful club we are today. Celtic existed without the GB and will exist after them. He may have treated them * but he has treated Celtic very very well and the GB should respect what he has done for the club. They are there for the club aren't they? They don't think they are the show...

  13. Celtic existed without Lawwell and we'll exist without him. The fans are what make this club special, not trophies or being debt free for * sake. Any good he's done is insignificant when he starts targeting fellow supporters.

Why do you believe Peter Lawwell would want to target supporters of the club he is trying to run? What would be in it for him or for the PLC?

I get the argument that is isnt doing enough to help fans out, or he simply doesnt care, but I dont understand why he would want to actually target our own fan base?

Tbh I don't even think the atmosphere the GB 'create' is good. Only full stadium chanting etc works but for the majority of most games they just look like cheerleaders on the touchline.

The whole 'rebel socialist' attitude is embarrassing.

Just because he doesn't target our own fanbase, doesn't make him a good guy. In his position at our club, he shoyuld be doing everything in his power to protect the fans, which he doesn't in the slightest. Where the * would he be if one day nobody stepped foot at Parkhead.

You should maybe try thinking about taking the fans side more rather than a businessman who wouldn't care less about you.

Lawwell wants the green brigade out.

He believes they bring trouble and tarnish the name of Celtic. He wants us to be the carbon copy of a poxy shitebag English team. We aren't like that.

"We have gave them enough rope for them to hang themselves".

  18. I think he's made it clear that he doesn't want rebel songs at games probably to improve are chances of getting into the Premier League.

We should stop playing Let The People Sing

Where is the evidence Lawell said this??

All the evidence points to Lawell wanting booze and standing back into the game but it's morons like the GB that prevent it, when they set off their flares and prevent the police from arresting people.
