what evidence is their that Lennon rather than anyone else will become a great manager. 99% of novices dont become great managers. You dont appoint someone on a hunch that they might just turn out to be in the 1% who become great managers. What evidence is there that Lenny will be a great manager.

I dont give a * who was appointed by the board....but whoever it was should be given a chance. I think Lennon will prove everyone wrong who doubts him. Whoever replaces him will get the same bullshit unless they get instant success. It's all pish.

I will still be a daftie and follow thro thick and thin, but sitting watching that pish in Baltic conditions and still fkn cold is really trying my patience, he is not the manager we went thro all this stick with TM last year and WGS as well, NL is just coming out with the same pish? he said on the radio that we played good, show us some respect we are not fkn thick and can see for ourselves when pish is on that park, can't change a game.

As for idiot, spell-check the above then come back to me...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Seriously though, I think we all know what being a true fan is about. It's about supporting the team through the good times & the bad. It's about singing yourself hoarse every single game, to the point you can hardly speak when you get home. It's about backing the players who are on the park, as much as possible (I say that as there does come the time when frustration needs to be vented if someone's having a stinker, especially if the errors have been costly - but there's still a right and a wrong way of doing it)
I could wax lyrical about this all night and well into tomorrow and beyond but we all know the values, the history, etc, etc. I'm only asking that the passion and spirit we were displaying in Seville, etc was still on show today - and yes Seville was a European final and yes that team / group of individuals was far better, but it's still the same club and we're still the same fans, so why should we behave any differently?
We are supporters and as such we should support!!!

ok then lets do it your way ! we give lennon 4 years then. after 4 years he still hasnt won the league ! we sack him and say well at least we gave you time. we then get a new manager say for instance henrik ! we tell henrik the same. you will have 4 years to get it right ! it doesnt work out again and rangers are on 10 in a row by now. but who cares though as we have given our managers plenty of time to prove themselves !

We play football to win, which is important however it's not the most important thing is it? It is for the tens of thousands of glory hunters who moan and * everytime we don't win a game. Sack this manager, sack that manager....bottom line is we should not be sacking a manager who has not been given a chance.

I think the sheer money advantage of the OF compared to the rest of the SPL means that we can sometimes get away with having a weak manager. However, why do that? Why start at the disadvantage of having the weakest manager in the SPL. A club like Celtic should have the best not the biggest novice.

As for Billy he was a mixed bag as a manager. There was a lot of failure too. He had been manager of Aberdeen before Celtic too.

Listen to what your saying mate.....it's not important to win?

FFS get a grip!

Before you start your glory hunter pish....do you go to Celtic games to watch them getting beat or winning?

Your comments are starting to get a tad ridiculous now mate:rolleyes:

The only chance we will have is to finish in second place if this carries on much longer, he is going the exact same way as TM chopping and changing teams:38:
