Would love for the board to show some ambition and go for some one like Martin Jol currently out of Work , or Get Paul Lambert here and * back him , Lennon is not ready to be manager of Celtic ,

Too many big games too many let downs and yes he did hump a very poor Aberdeen well done ,

This will sound very unfair but i honestly still blame Mowbary for changing the team around so much and getting rid of key players.

I don't care if we don't win the next three leagues......if it means our Team can dominate for the next ten years. Sacking manager after manager is daft. Are you a Celtic fan just because we can win the league?? I would support Celtic if we were in Division 3.

why do people keep saying he was a great player and a diehard like that is of any relevance to him as a manager. Many a great manager and club legend has never made it as a manager. Rangers most popular all time player John Greig was their worst ever manager. He was basically their Lenny type appointment where his legend got him the job even through he like Lenny had zero experience. Why take a novice based on personality cult and his legendary player status and take a massive leap of faith that one day he could be a great manager, based on nothing. Its like this, this should be about what a manager can do for us, not what we can do for a would-be manager. We didnt need to do this. There are several managers even in the SPL that are light years ahead of Lenny in know-how. Again, this is all down to putting weight on his player/diehard image. Its totally spacecadetery.

he has the credentials to be a good manager.. "he has learned from the best" , " he is a diehard tim" , " he was a great leader on the pitch" , "he was a great player" !! since when did these become "credentials" to become a great manager???? jose mourinho is probably the best manager about just now. he was an interpreter for bobby robson ! he wasnt a tim ! he wasnt a great player ! he wasnt a great leader on the pitch ! guess that rules him out of the celtic job in your eyes then??

Your off yer head mate seriously!

It's like saying "Yes boss...i don't mind working for nothing for the next three years if it means i have a permanent job for the next ten!"

Celtic winning the Championship is our bread and butter!

It is our seasonly remit that we win the league because that is what is only acceptable for us generate cash, and better ourselves as a team....

Can you not clearly see that with every passing season that Celtic fail to win the league, there is a steady decline in team quality?

To say that it would be 'good' for Celtic to go x amount of years without the title is ludicrous and bizarre!

    Aye...he's a *.

How the * are we going to find out if Lennon will become one of Celtic's best ever managers? The "fans" who cant bear to watch the team unless we win every single game wont give him a chance.

You may well have been against Neil Lennon getting the job from day 1 but 10 days ago you were saying it was all about belief and 'we need to get behind the manager'. One bad result later and you're saying the manager is clueless and has to go. How exactly is that getting behind the manager? :97:

If you can't see how silly that sounds then that's up to you I suppose.

PS. I didn't want Neil Lennon as manager either just so you know.

point is we didnt need to appoint a manager who is so weak that he needs 3 years to learn and make his mistakes on Celtic's time. We could easily have gotten an SPL manager with a 10 year head start on him but who had never had the benifit of the better resources at a club like Celtic.

One thing that always sets alarm bells ringing is 'dream team' because it always consists of people who have the job due to their ex-player legend status.

It's important to win the league but should we have 15 managers in 3 years to do it? That's what would happen if half the posters on this had their way.

I don't need to make any excuses for being passionate about my club.

    What's your excuse ?
