Ano mate nearly made me sick agreeing with ye:icon_mrgreen:

Seriously...i do not for the life of me have a * clue what these players are doing and working on in training but there is something majorly missing here....

More and more there does seem to be a lack of tactical nous from Lennon....in all honesty, i don't even think he is doing the greatest job of man-management...so what is he doing?

The team are failing because they're a group of gutless wonders who have no courage, true ability or dig about them. Gone are the Hartleys, Robsons etc. Scott Brown is the only one who appears courageous if sometimes a little rash. Lenny can stand and tell that lot what he expects from them for a month of sundays and they still wouldn't get it! Half of them are foreigners who probably dont understand why they have to actually burst a gut every week to win. Losing any game is unacceptable to the fan base and they just don't get it.

I was cringing at that match tonight when it seemed that most of them were chasing balls without puting in a tackle......sorry to say but it was boys against men at times. Our defence remains a shambles but to be fair we're shambolic all over the park. The highly rated little guy Forrest didn't cut it for me but to be fair he might need a little more time.

Managers can be to blame but in this instance I actually feel sorry for Lenny. He inherited crap and has tried to tweak the team with a limited budget.....no big signings on the horizon or ever likely to be within the next 10 years! Had Lenny inherited a better team the picture may have been very different by now. I see absolutely no sense in getting rid of him now as at least he knows the team, the club, the fans etc and he will do everything that he can to bring success. ...... another dud like Mowbray would spell disaster. You can be sure of one thing Lenny is hurting just as much as we are right now.

yes because he learned so much in the 8 months or so he has been in the job !!! if he keeps learning at the rate he is just now then maybe in 2 years he will still have learned absolutly nothing !! cut our losses now and admit it was a mistake !!

total madness. This is not about developing Lenny's career. We need a really knowledgeble manager NOW not in 3 or 4 years with all his learning done at Celtic. You give the top job to a guy who brings what we need to the club. I cant understand all this stuff that comes across as though we are here for Neils career development. I really couldnt give a * about Lenny's career. All I am interested in is having the best possible manager. Lenny is probably not even the 5th best manager in the SPL.

He'll be given until the end of the season, of that I have no doubt, so there is no point in doing anything other than getting behind him at the moment.

If we win at Ibrox the whole place gets a lift again, let's not throw the towel in yet.

One of the obvious problems Lenny has got is reversing the slide..
That probelm was there to be rectified after the 2nd half against the huns , again after the defeat at Tynecastle and again after each of our last 3 home games.. It's now past the point of margin for error..
I think momentum can be hard to break up when everything clicks into place.. The same can be said about downward momentum , it's rare for teams who are struggling to find some kind of inner toughness they haven't previously shown to drag themselves out of it.. It could go either way but after each blip we are almost being spoon fed the notion that the penny has finally dropped and the team will go on another winning run.. Rather than Lenny imposing his personality onto his players I feel he may be a few weeks into the realisation that some aren't for turning..
It's something I think Roy Keane has also come to terms with during his time as a manager...

What in your eyes then "true fan", does not make you a "true fan"?

No..I am not having a laugh....the idiots who want a new manager every season are having a laugh. It's not the end of the world if we dont win the league this season or the next for that matter. The Club rebuilding for the future is far more important. I am not a Celtic fan because we win the league every year, I care about the future of our Club. It always goes in cycles, we win...they win...we win again. We need to take a long term view.

I think it's painfully obvious to us all that Lennon is really out of depth on the management front. I totally agree that it was a cheap appointment, and an easy option for the Board - appease the fans, etc. Unless there is drastic action taken, then I think we're well on our way back to the Mowbray days.

There are a number of good, experienced, managers out of work at the moment who should be considered. We urgently need someone with some tactical knowledge ,and man-management. I just hope that the Board don't release transfer funds in January for Lennon - we can't afford another disaster.

I meant it as in i would not trust him with the money to bring in decent players , its either time for him to ask for help in that older wise head or go ,

He may have been a Celtic legend as a player but he is a donkey as a manager he has not got a clue how to change a game when it needs something he looks lost and this is not the first time ,

His tactics , shape , subs all needs work now its okay saying back him give him funds and let him build a team , This club can not afford to let the huns win the * league yet again .

Listen Markybhoy99 you are entitled to your opinion just like I and everyone else. But let me refresh your memory seeing as you take the last refuge of a scoundrel by casting up old posts. I won't stoop that low and cast up your old posts.

Let me refresh your memory Markybhoy99 cast up some more of my posts
before Lennon was appointed and you will see I was dead against Lennon from Day One being appointed. But oh wait a minute, that might not be to your suiting, some people like to cast up selective posts to suit their own warped agenda.

Maybe give the job back to Strachan but this time get in the players that were needed instead of Willo Flood. I would give Lenny back his assistants job. I know it went pear shaped for WGS at Boro but there is no denying that he knew how to get the job done at Celtic despite massive downsizing and average players. I am 100% certain WGS would get more out of this group of players.

Who said he is not going to be? He has all the credentials to become a great manager. He has learned from the best, he is a diehard Tim, he was a great leader on the pitch, he was a great player.....but wait..we should sack him and then sack the next poor * who doesn't get instant success, then the next and so on....short sighted pish. Stick with Lennon for at least the next 3-4 seasons. If we don't win the league for a couple of seasons then will anyone die?? We need to proper manager who will be around for decades not a few months.
