Lenny just doesnt have it. Its not his fault really, its the board's for appointing a novice.

 

same old *, seen it now for 5 years, getting fed up way the team, cant even go out and say we will win next week , totally dumb founded

 

Sick of watching the same pish under lenny ,he clearly has no idea tactics wise and his team selection so far has been a disgrace !! Teams arent afraid to come and have a go and most games are a struggle even at home which was unheard off in the past really fear the worst !!

 

aye lets sack lennon, start again with a new manager half way through a season,

while we're at it, sack all the players, bring in a whole new squad, in january...

 

The tactics were ok tonight and have been recently... i dont think alot of ppl could tell you the best team, its the players fault... defence has cost us massivly with individual errors we cant score upfront.... we need new players the players dont care about the club they jst want there wage, lenny is celtic mad... it will hurt him that the players are so gash... we need to sort out the players and not let them get away free and jst all blame lenny.

 

His team that he has signed are a bunch of spineless *!!! We've just about turned into draw specialist. We've now droped points against 4 outta the top 6(10 points, 7 at HOME). Just back from the game and although I thought we played well in the 1st half, we crumbled again and snatched a point. Far to many lightweights in the team, Lawells two players are not good enough. Niall McGinn just wants to burst the net when he has the ball, doesnt even look for the pass. Ledley is not getting played to his strenths. Murphy is Tony Cascarinos love child. Foster is Rab Douglas!! Big Dan? well, you get what you pay for 99times out of a 100!!!

the whole set up from the board players management support is an embaressment i dont know what celtic fc has become.

What are we going to win this the management and squad we have now.

Take a gamble and get a manager in...NOW.

 

the tactics were fine?? what??? who cares if lenny is celtic mad ?? that doesnt make you a good manager. he picks the team, he has now signed 12 players and thats the team he is putting out. he is so far out of his depth its scary !!

 

Bottom line is Lenny is the most inexperienced manager in the SPL. Seriously if it werent for him being an iconic ex-player ALL fans would have been outraged at an appointment like that. Truth is he is a much weaker manager than Jeffries, Brown etc (imagine they had the same resources) but the madness that is football means the fans would rather have a managerial nobody who is a legendary player than appoint those much more experienced SPL managers who happen to have no Celtic connections or worse still Rangers leanings. I have seen enough now to know that keeping Lenny is like volunarily fighting with one arm tied behind your back.

 

Too true Gunt. But try telling them that love Lenny because he hates the huns and the huns hate him. As if that should have been the criteria for appointing a manager.

 

GTF. We have to stick with him for at least two years! Look what happened with Mowbray.

 

why should mowbray not have got 2 years then??? why should lennon be afforded something that mowbray wasnt??

 

no fan wanted mowbray to stay, he * up a good team,

lenny has had to take over from a * team there's the difference and the reason he should be given more time.

 

Glad to see the majority think Lenny should stay! A club needs stability and a manager needs time! And before you all rush in, I am only too aware that we don't get time at our club as it means the monkeys winning leagues, gaining CL revenue when we should have buried them, etc, etc, etc.
However look at Ferguson - hardly a sniff and then boom! More success than most will ever dream of! And before you all rush in (again) - no, I don't think it will take Lenny 5 years to get a league winning team on the park.
For me the problem in the hear & now is the so called supporters.
Once again it is you who are letting the team and the club down!
If those sitting in the stands would actually get behind the team, dare I say even sing or chant something, then maybe the players would respond.
These days you can hear a pin drop at CP and I, for one, am disgusted!!!
Call yourselves supporters? You should be ashamed!!!
And yes, before you all rush in yet again, those who pay their money are entitled to their opinion but negativity breeds, so keep it up and we'll win nothing - but then at least the Victor Meldrew-alike bunch of arseholes will still be happy as it'll give them something to complain about!!!
