Went to M&D's when I was about 12 on a school trip, and the harness of one of the rides wasn't locked in properly so me and my friend had to hang on to a metal bar for about 3 minutes while it swung us upside down trying not to slip through the harness. It was terrifying and the staff didn't seem to bothered about it.

One of those. Wasn't until we got higher up and I realised the harness was loose that I started * myself. If there wasn't a metal bar to wrap my feet under I'm fairly sure I'd have been out bouncing around the thing.

Something similar happened to me too at M&Ds.

On the one with the over the shoulder restraints they came unhooked going up the hill. Luckily there was a seat belt holding it on but it was still scary because I heard the guy saying to the guy behind me that the extra belt doesn't matter because it's locked in place. Thank * I strapped it in too.

Boxing, knocked a guys head off in the ring, apparently he had a kind of disease that make his skin thin and his head fell off easy. It was shocking, I've never been the same since.

Scariest happened to me a few weeks ago.
Had a big coughing fit in car whilst wife was driving.
Started to pass out. Woke up in hospital.
When i was having fit, i was told that i had swallowed my tongue.
Luckily hospital was only a 1 minute drive from where we were in car.

Read through a large majority of this thread, some * weird stories but ones that I love to hear.

I've had a couple of scary experiences. One involving sleep paralysis which at the time, I thought was me being posessed or visisted by a ghost. Woke up dripping with sweat with a tight sensation around my chest, couldn't move either and when I eventually could I ran out the house in my skants:56:

Also, 3 year ago I was going to meet my mates at the local sports centre and play 5 a sides. Gate was locked so being a * I decided to jump the fence. It was one of the dark green ones you would find at an ashy or 3g pitch, had sharp tips at the top. Some might find this pretty graphic by the way, I still struggle to talk about it.

Anyway, I got to the top and as I swing my leg over, my trousers got caught and I ended up losing my balance, trying to prevent myself from falling I automatically grab on to the fence but lose the grip. My finger then gets caught in the spike and as I fall down towards the ground my whole hand is ripped open as a result.
At this point I could literally see inside my hand and my finger was hanging on my a thread.

Got to the hospital etc and luckily my local has the best hand surgery unit in the UK or something. 55 stitches, 4 hours of surgery, 2 metal pins and 6 months of physio. Horrible, horrible experience. My finger is still *, lost all feeling in most of my hand.

Weird thing was I usually wear a ring on that finger but that day I decided to take it off for some reason. The surgeon said if I had left it on I'd be sitting here without a finger. My mates went up the next day and could still see bits of my skin on the fence. Brutal stuff.:56:

On the Seville trip we spent a night in Frankfurt....hefty session all good fun and got pally with the owners of the hotel.

Later on the owners got into a fight with some guys and we got involved. After it was done we asked what it was about and they said * Russian Mafia moving in!!

Thank * I was to pished to be scared :56:

Still have nightmares about this.. Bit long winded but need to paint the scene..

Got a mate he's a scouser and sells the EPL around the world...

He was going to Seville and could possibly get us tickets, I was there with my Da and Sister..

He was getting heavy pressure from Irish lads he knew.. So it was up in then air on whether we were getting to the game or not..and he didn't know how many he was getting.. We went to the hotel the UEFA delegation was staying to try and get the tickets..but they weren't there.. My Da and sister met Rod Stewart there so even though it was a bit up in the air, we were still havin a ball soaking up the atmosphere as you can imagine..

Finally catch up with my big mate and we have to get up to the stadium to pick up the tickets.. We get to the stadium and my mate goes to the ticket office... And to our utter delight he produced four tickets three for us and his own..and then he went off to meet the Irish lads to give them their tickets..

So we're huggin and * and start to realise we're going to see our Celtic play in a European final...

I'm wearin Celtic shorts so my Old man takes the tickets and puts them in the pocket of his shorts and then goes to a beer van to get everyone a beer still right next to the stadium..

I'm delirious but there were a few dodgies around who had obviously clocked us.. I look over to my old man and in between lighting a * I noticed a wee * right against my Da in the queue..

I look closer and the * has hand in my Da's pocket trying to swift the tickets..

I drop my * and run over get a hold of the * wrist and pull it out and he has a hold of the tickets..get the tickets out his hand a Porto fan(a wee baldy hard looking *) has noticed as well and shouts the Polis over..

I get the tickets back.. That's all I was intersted in I wish I had filled him in but the * who was in his 50s was gone in a flash.,my old man was totally oblivious and was like telling me to calm it, when it sunk in I was shaking with rage/fear..

Can you imagine getting all the way to Seville getting tickets only for some wee * to steal them, including the ticket of the lad who had sorted us!

Still gives me nightmares, I would have been gutted for my Da for so many reasons.. :shamrock:

Really didn't know that happened.. It was some experience remember saying to my Da after it 'well that's the last time we'll see us in a European Final' and he said 'maybe for me, not you!' :shamrock:
