Yeah rip the heart out of the club and what do you have left a bunch of trendy glory hunters who watch the hoops then go home to watch the x factor, not giving a * what went on in the past or is happening in the present. The GB is the only ones creating any atmosphere in the ground now without them it would be like a graveyard.

It doesn't all have to be politicised. Those principles you speak of are all fine, but when it gets portraited by waving Basque and Palestine flags and singing pro-IRA chants, it gets too much.

I'm not saying I disagree with what they say, but their views are not for football ground.

The republican most associated with the founding of Celtic Michael Davitt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Davitt had remounced violence by the time Celtic was founded and spend the rest of his life strongly opposing the violent side of republicanism. The roots of Celtic is Christianity, charity and anti-violence.
