    This.

Also brought club to situation where they have to apologize for GB's actions. Now club should issue statements and apologies whenever individuals or individuals groups (always consisting of small minority) does something that can lead to getting club in trouble. Ridiculous.

But then again, it's the club, PoppyScotland and SFA (read: Huns playing us and them card) that started all this crap two years ago with all poppy on tops crap.

They used Celtic Football Club in order to voice their opinion, everyone has a right to voice their opinion but they have no right to use Celtic to do so.

As well as using the club they implied the whole support was behind them by saying our top when clearly that isn't the case.

I don't think the poppy should be forced on to the top, the players should make their own mind up on that but that still doesn't give the GB the right to use the club.

IMO I think they were being entirely self-centred and gave no consideration to what other fans might think or what was best for the club.

the celtic management is only to blame for this. although against their own policy, they decided to bring politics to CP.

Now they are just facing the consequences.

have u seen a handsome hun
when my dad placed my first ever celtic shirt over my head he said to me that when i wear this shirt i dont only represent myself but represent celtic football club. and i should never do anything that would bring celtic football club any harm.
celtic football club have issued an apology for the actions of the green brigade.... which is a shame, as for the most part the green brigade have deserved great credit for their recent support of the club.
take yer politics to holyrood or westminster
    keep celtic park for football.

Many corrupt and bigoted football association officials and referees, a bigoted and racist society and we are busy fighting eachother (club vs fans vs fans) over petty things (poppy!) when there are a lot of way more important things to deal with. Only in Scotland I guess...

right so what your doing there is only taking your opinion into account and telling everyone your right. i respect your opinion. but why should the gb be silent for the british army if they think they're murdering *?

the political will always be there mate, dont think it'll ever go away, obviously people dont like it, and obviously people are going to do it, these people are just as much fans as you and i, they should be allowed at parkhead just like you should.

i wont sing, during silences but i just want to get the point of the gb across

What I said was football should be about football, songs and banners should be about the football teams and their players, not about war or anything political.

There's a time and a place for politics and the place is not at a football ground where two teams are playing.

I didn't say they shouldn't be allowed at the stadium just that they behave in a correct manner, if they did disrupt the silence they would split the support which would be insensitive to our fans who have lost family and friends in the wars.

I just wonder how some of the new signings felt seeing the banner (which I'm guessing they did)

see the thing is here the club and gb should have a meeting and sort out some *! that way we can continue as a football club, i still say they havent done anything wrong its their right to express their protests about something. the same as people who dont agree with what they did.
