Unless it was 'no mosques, mormons or Jehovah's witnesses to sadden my eyes' or something 'anti-Greek Orthodox or CoS' then it wasn't sectarian.

There was nothing 'sectarian' chanted at all. Sectyarian refeers to religious intoleerance. Hundom's specialty.

Come off it, you're arguing semantics, so he got it wrong it's not strictly sectarian, that doesn't mean shouting UP THE RA and such isn't innappropriate or offensive to some.

I know that in general we're not as bad as the huns for this stuff, but still there's still plenty in our support that could use a slap when it comes to singing questionable add-ons to perfectly fine songs, when we know we'll get scrutinised to death for it and made to look just as bad as them.

But semantics IS the point. If people are going to go on about chargeing or punishing clubs they can at least get the * terms right.

Sectarian is sectarian and political is political. If they're gonna lambast something they should at least get their facts and terms right. They're the * press ffs. They're hun apologists, twisting it to make people think it's the same thing. It * isn'y - acceptable, appropriate or not.

SEMANTICS is the whole * point here.

Anybody who says it's acceptable to lump them together as the same thing, with all due respect, is a * uneducated idiot.

Sectarianism is hatred towards a certain group of people.

Singing up the Ra IS NOT SECTARIAN! Thats called expressing your support towards a certain group of people.

On the other hand, singing 'up to our knees in * blood' and 'famines over,go home' is 100% sectarian. When they sing that theyre really just saying we hate catholics and we hate the irish. * SCUM * BLESS THE POPE, UP THE RA!!
