Nice stats mate. I'm not Loovens biggest fan and I'd much rather see someone else play next to big Dan. I also haven't see enough of Hooiveld to be convinced he is that man(although your stats are impressive). At the end of the day I'd much rather see someone else rather than Glenda, who's failings are apparent, or Jos who I thinks is slow and cumbersome.

I agree. We really have not seen enough of a fit Jos partnered with Maj. I suspect he may yet prove to be a good player. However, we cant just throw him into his first game in ages when its an OF game and he hasnt hardly played with Maj before.

I was talking about league games as it says in that quote.

He played in Utrecht when we were hammered, but I don't think anyone can blame him for that performance. Every single player on the park, from Zaluska and Majstorovic in the backline, to McCourt, Juarez and Kayal in midfield and Fortune/Samaras upfront was * terrible. I'm not using that game to point out any player being bad, becasue based on that game I'd sack every player and the manager. We were beyond terrible.

He also played in the Braga game where we conceded a goal, however, Mulgrew was totally to blame for, and that fact that he was taken off at halftime highlights that.

hes rubbish simple as that lenny slipped up big time in the summer by not bringing in a decent cb,hes got a lazy left leg that just gets stuck out he done it twice on sunday one was a goal, the other the boy hit wide we need to go out in january and spend decent money on a cb,this is wot worries me in any game with him playing he presses that red button

On Sunday he turns his back to the player and sticks out his leg to deflect the shot past the flabbergasted Forster. Absolutely rubbish.

I wish Rogne would stop getting injured as he has looked great every time he plays. We will probably try to buy a replacement in January - unfortunately we are stuck with Glenda till then.

He needs to go and be replaced in the jan Window the guy is total cart horse and * donkey and the weak point in our defence . He has been here far too long now and he is getting worse not better .

Loovens played a blinder on Sunday; can't blame him for the deflected goal.

Looks like him and Big Dan are forming a partnership; however he needs replaced with better in January. Would spend our whole budget on a CB.

    Why not?

If he had left it Forster would have saved. If he hadn't turned his back he might have blocked the shot. Instead he blindly put a foot out and deflected it past the keeper!!

If he had left it it could have went in and you would be shouting why didn't he put his foot out and block it.

It is just one of they things, Ledley was weak in midfield and got disposseed of the ball. He was the biggest to blame for that.

Loovens is just the current scapegoat.

Personally I think Forster had it covered.

Loovens is not just the current scapegoat - he has never been popular!

Actually I think he has been playing better than usual recently. Must be the Mjallby effect.

Mjallby and having a proper partner. This is why he had a reputation at Cardiff he was playing next to Johnson who is a far superior player and one of they guys who will go through a brick wall to win a header.

He's not the greatest and is prone to silly mistakes but recently he has being playing all right.

Would still spend our full January budget to get a replacement for him but for now he's doing all right.

Loovens get's a rough ride from many supporters for good reason, he's cost us in a lot of games, his concentration needs to be 100% on sunday........

You cant bomb Loovens out of this game now ,he has been a main stay recently and to bring another Centre Half at this late stage would be suicide ,you dont go changing a winning formula now.

:50: Could not have written down it better.
Only problem is that up till now Lennon is winning his games with his team. Unfortunatly that is a team without Hooiveld. Still convinced that Hooiveld has more pace, is a better header, has more tactical understanding and better passes as "Big" Dan and Glenn. Still waiting for his new debut.

Caldwell and McManus got slated something awful, but yet id rather have either 1 of them in my team than this imposter, hes a joke and a sorry excuse for a footballer
