Larsson Statue?

Following Fully67Bhoy's previous thread regarding Henrik Larsson stating Celtic is where his heart is, do you belive the club should consider a statue of the Bhoy outside Celtic Park.

There appears to be many positive comments towards what Henrik did for the club but do you belive its now time for the club to say a massive thankyou to Henrik themselves.

 

I think the the club should be renames in his honour :icon_mrgreen:

 

100%. in the next 10 years we'll have about 10 statues outside the ground

cant have a statue for everyone haha but if we have- jinky, bro, jock, larsson, mccann & TOMMY BURNS who should have one instead of a plaque imo then might not be too much

I'm not sure about this to be honest. Personally I'd be more inclined to build a statue of Billy McNeill before Henrik Larsson so where exactly do you stop? Will we end up with 20,30,40 statues outside Celtic Park?

Henrik was an absolutely phenomenal player but at this moment I would say no to erecting a statue of him.

 

henrik knows how much he meant to the club after he dies i would honour him but in the mean time get him a role at CP to be the eventual successor to neil lennon

 

only reason i would want a statue of henrik is mainly due to the fact I got to watch one of the greatest celtic players of all time in my life time

I know it doesn't really happen in football, mostly american sports, but I'd have considered retiring the #7, have a couple up on display with larsson/jinky on it, I mean lets face it anyone who gets it now is going to have the pressure heaped on them by fans thinking the 7 should be a star for the club.

Yip. I would love to see a statue of him outside the ground , would also like to see the main stand and the north stand named after Tommy Burns and Henrik.

 

Definitely going to need something to commemorate Henky. I like the idea of one the stands being named after TB though!

 

everyone else is dead when they get statues I cant think of any for living person to have a statue errected

 

Sir Bobby Charlton , Dennis Law with George Best outside Old Trafford not sure if Best was alive at the time but Law and Charlton are alive.

 

yes for me, henrik was great for this club and stayed and gave us his best years.............then in his later years and "past it"(not my words), he went on to win la liga, epl and champs league!! LEGEND!!

 

You odviously havent seen the rocky films lol
