i think BTG is 100% right. and i think yous are hiding from it because yous don't want to think he's a bad player if that makes sense?.

lets be honest he didnt contribute in the games. he scored a penalty, which he never won. and anyone can score a penalty. other than that, he has done NOTHING. would play maloney ahead of him.and as far as the assists go also. i can't remember many if any assists. i think he will get a chance just not yet, when we can't afford to drop points.

Put the handbags away and we'll settle on the fact Murphys pish.

He's scored 2 penalty's none of which he earned and i cant remember him doing anything ground breaking from open play.

Murphy's a useful player to have and hasn't put a foot wrong yet. I don't see why people feel the need to have a scapegoat; somebody to direct there vitriol towards.

Support the team; everybody played so far has done there part to get us were we are sitting just now. It's often the supporting acts than can be key to a championship winning side.

Back for the Old Firm match mate; Sunday may be too early for him.

    I agree.

Although I haven't been terribly impressed by Murphy so far it is way too early to write him off as a dud.

Having said that, he wouldn't be in my first choice team for Sunday's match.

Play him beside Hooper, Keep stokes for old firm, he always scores against Rangers!

I think our team selection rests a lot on Iza being fit, which I hope he is.

I'd also start Murphy up top with either Stokes or Hooper, the next 2 games are tailor made for him.

I like murphy correct stats for him:

Appearances 3 plus 4 as sub
    Goals 2

2 goals in 3 starts not too bad...

    Stokes:

Appearances 4 plus 1 as sub
    Goals 3

    Also very good

Appearances 4 plus 1 as sub
    Goals 2

I'd say all 3 look great

    Samaras:

Appearances 68 plus 52 as sub
    Goals 40

His records good too as a lot of these games he's been out of position.

    Taken from official celtic site.
