I think Paddy shouldn't be out for long but Brown may be out for some time if it's ligament damange.

Not a vintage performance from Lenny's Lads, but we got the job done. And that's what you have to be able to do at Rugby Park on a wet Sunday afternoon, if you fancy winning the league.

Shaun - put in another right good shift, although I feel he plays better just behind the striker
Emilio - looked very dangerous going forward

Stokes - liking the non-poacher work he was doing, not as one-dimensional as some make out
Kayal & Juarez - niether on top form today, but was impressed by how much effort they put in closing players down. Given how good they are when they are on form, these two should be starting pretty much every game
Murphy - still not convinced he's a footballer, but I like his attitiude, & he puts in a shift

Overall satisfied - because this was the sort of game that was costing us last season.

It wasn't a dive. He was just getting out the way. Though he did roll a couple of times and a sneaky look up to the ref to see if he was watching him haha

dont think we have made any progress, and we will be struggling to beat defensive teams this year, that game was not convincing me that we are champion material no way

Our midfield needs to move a little more. There were quite a few times when one of our players had the ball, because his midfield partners weren't making themselves available, he had to pass back in defence or punt it up field.

I'd also like to see fewer crosses into the box and more passes. Murphy aside, we don't have much of an aerial presence.

Just getting out of the way? Come on Nick, don't be so gullible. If he had no intention of trying to get a player booked (or worse) then he would have got straight up, not hold onto his shin, rolling about like a toppled fat person...the sneaky look to see what the ref was doing was ridiculous aswell.

As I said, I hope Lenny has a word with him about those sort of antics. This isn't south America anymore.

Good result,3pts to take back to Glasgow.Ye we should have scored more ,at least we're creating chances and we'l convert them when it matters.Hope the injuries are not to bad as I would sooner still have the 2 of them(even Brown)available for selection. Also just on a sour note we need to stop the diving.Anyway Bhoys & Ghirls go and enjoy whats left of your weekend.HAIL HAIL:bbpd:

Celtic Symphony and Just Cant Get Enough!
as the Celtic Saturdays song goes 'oh all the things you do to me, i just cant get enough' :icon_mrgreen: nerveracking finish but im delighted. Izza was motm for me with Cha a close 2nd. Thought Stokes did well, gave everything he had and didnt make it easy for the kilmarnock defence. Was nice to see the players applaud the fans at the end :icon_mrgreen: *, i love Celtic :50::56:

Was a tough game for Maloney. Normally he would do them. I still think he is lacking in confidence because normally if he gets closed down he would knock it past the man with ease but today the full-back had the better of him and gave him no space but didn't close him at other times.

Did you read my post lol? I mentioned the look and I was chuckling at the rolling about. But it wasn't an outright dive. I'm talking about the actual tackle/contact. I am not gullable. Juarez in pain or faining pain doesn't mean someone shoudl get booked. All the refs decision based on contact/challenge. It wasn't a booking by the way but the ref decided based on the contact man.
