One of them failed massively, one of them only won one of the leagues when Brown was injured and we played Robson/Hartley in midfield and the other keeps taking him off in the second half.

oh dont misunderstand me. He is not worth anything like 10 or 12 million. I would sell him in the bat of any eyelid if that was offered. I would have thought he was worth about 6 million in England but TBH I thought he had 18 months to go in his contract so even that seems good. My problem is simply many fans simply will give him no credit. He is singled out to a level where even when he is playing well generally there are still 2 or 3 threads on the go about him.

Don't want to get my hopes up too high, but this is looking increasingly hopeful.

The 12 milion stuff is utter pish of course - but any reporter that describes any player as "£Xmillion-rated" is an idiot straight off, and should be shot. Players do not have "ratings". The transfer fee a player will command is the amount of money the club will accept to buy out whatever time is on his contract, simple as that.

Rumour that Inter are willing to go to £6mill, however, has me "cautiously excited."

wiki says it was a 5 year contract (which is what I recall too). That would mean he is not out of contract until the end of next season. That obviously will massively increase possible fees if he has nearly 2 full seasons to go. Personally I see him as an unusual player who we might miss more than many realise and I think many in football see this. I would feel he would easily fetch 6 million and wouldnt sell for less. I suspect he will want to move on given the lack of support he gets at Celtic. So, I would be willing to sell if someone offer 6m+.
