i admire his energy, i hate his "hardman act" i dont think he has a £4million players ability, and i certianly dont think hes a captian!! but i think he gives everything hes got, he is spl class and thats where he plays so what can u say. on a serious note i wish he would change his boots, those pumas give me the boke hahaha

If he starts for Scotland Friday the most likely thing he will do in that game is at least get a caution, in other words a yellow card, wait and see!

Scott Brown - Games started - 103 Goals - 10 Assists - 14.
After watching this guy for several seasons I've certainly not been impressed with his contributions to the team. Thought he didn't get on the scoresheet often enough, passing wasn't great and he rarely made a difference in taking our team by the scruff of the neck (as a good captain should) and turn a defeat into a win.
Out of curiousity had a wee look at his stats since he started. The amount of goals and assists is pitiful for someone playing centre mid for Celtic. Guys like McGeady, Steve Davis and even Barry 'backpass' Ferguson have set up more goals for their team mates in just 1 season! Kayal, Juarez, Ki, Ledley all deserve a chance to show that they can contribute more to the team because Scott Browns had long enough.

Against Motherwell last week within the last 2 mins. Brown manages to pass what should have been a simple 3 yard pass for Maloney to shoot (2-0 game over) to somewhere between Maloney's * and hips. Chance squandered - Motherwell break. Brown chases Well player halfway into Celtics half, fouls him. Motherwell free kick lobbed into the box in the last minute - defensive panic - Well have a great chance to draw. Brown is Celtic's worst player and a complete liability. The idea of making the numpty captain is preposterous. All the chasing people around and hard stares just make him look like an *. You could stick shirts on two Jack Russells and they would be more effective than Brown and Samaras.

 

Scott Brown is a handicap for our team, and if it takes him as much as an effort to control the middle of the park, that tell its own story then, or its all the spl midfielders are brilliant, and he finds he has to work hard, which i doubt, he has no time for a cigar lol it seems in any game he has played
