i think the problem with samaras and the celtic fans is this,he has everything in the locker to be a top top striker much like ibrahimavich, but frustrating because he dont use the tools often enuf ,i like him and think he loves the club .

Whatever he has he usually keeps to himself, one of the most frustrating Celtic players I've ever seen ! I really do wish he'd fulfil his potential, as I do believe he has what it takes.

I love samaras, and i dont think there is any question about his loyalty. But he does get a lot of stick (a lot of it undeserved) I bet if he came on here he wouldnt want to stay for long!

The thing is with Samaras that we all know how good a player he is, he has shown glimpses of it a few times. However, he does not always play to this level and this is no doubt frustrating. With frustration it can lead to anger and this is surely why Samaras gets as much stick as he does(admittedly some of it unfair). The boy needs to start producing performances AND goals very soon.

Is it not all just PR.?

He is here for the next year and he has to try and build bridges with the fans.

He is a confidence player and has shown how great he can be when he is on form a bit like Kenny Millar.

I see no problem with a Sammy type player (a drifting 2nd striker) as long as he is paired with a poacher up front. He does a power of good work for us and he is a major component in the flow of most of our games. My only issue with him is he needs to poach a little (even a 2nd striker needs to be scoring 15 a season IMO) and he needs to be cooler in front of goal. If he could improve those areas he would be a big asset. He plays well when the team plays well. When the team all plays bad he and Broony get the blame. He is a confidence player and needs extra support not booing.

think this will be his season with therecent additions of strikers he will have to really fight for his place if he wants to be in the starting 11

Perhaps Samaras and Brown bear the brunt of the fans frustration because these are two players who should be shining head and shoulders above the other players in the team, yet time and time again we have been let down by their 'performances'.

That said, i agree with you 100% no Celtic player deserves to be booed!

Sammy has to be commended for his loyalty in this day and age
when money and prestige seem to dominate footballer's minds. Sammy
is a very useful option to have because of his pace and ability to run the channels. Despite all the booing he gets at times, he has never lost his love for the club, that is quite remarkable. I think this will be a big year for Samaras, for at last he has two poachers in Hooper and Stokes to feed off.

i do think he loves the club.

But how should his loyalty be commended. Not 1 club made a bid for him so he never had a decision to make and his loyalty was never tested.

Plus why would u want to leave a club which you under perform most weeks but still find yourself in the starting 11 the following weekend

i would of commended his loyalty if he said this during the transfer window and not after it closed

I seem to remember Sammy being linked with a move to a Greek club during the transfer window and knocking it back. There can be no questioning Sammy's loyalty and love of Celtic FC. It is evident on his face and in his emotions.

Exactly:50: There's No Doubting His Loyalty and His Love FOr The Club and Is One Of Players That Tries 110% Everytime He Wears The Jersey. Yes He Is Frustrating at Times But He Is and Can Be an Important Player For Us. Remember He Is Only What 25/26 Years Old With The Best Years Ahead Of Him.
Personally I Think He Is One Of The Better Players at The Club.
