the board don't choose the players!!
Lennon said he has all the money to spend from the McGeady transfer if he wants to spend it so what more do you want from the board?? this is our market

There must be some something psychological with celtic and away european games. No matter how many different players come and go we are pathetic away from home.

fed up hearing sack the * board as soon as we get beat in europe, don't know where i heard it today but someone said that as soon as a celtic player picks up their passport everything goes wrong, fix our away record in europe that is all i would want out of our board or manager because i still think we will win the league at a canter..

As opposed to the greeting panic-merchants waiting to throw their toys out of the pram and give up on the back of one bad night in August?

Cause those people are the pyoor proper UberTims, like.

Look. We knew McGeady was gone. Why wasn't the money spent sooner?????????????? I know Lenny was asking to sign another goal scorer. Lawwell was saying NO CHANCE NO CHANCE NO CHANCE, can't afford it. :87:

I know we aren't Arsenal. But it is a joke

the fact is we don't have a clue what goes on behind the scenes so you can't criticise. I think our board do an excellent job, the only disgraces tonight were the 11 on that pitch

You'll do yourself no favours going off topic and questioning staff decisions.

Go to the helpdesk and post this

Have to agree with the last bit there man. No passion at all, even in the final minutes when two goals could have possibly made all the difference.

If the board get a manager and a team who do well on the park they will take all the credits and so they should take the faults as well, if I as a Supervisor at work don't do my job and make * ups then my head is on the line just the same as if I do well take the credits, so this is another * up in my eyes, manager and players should have been in earlier, another blank cheque for the huns, like as if we want them to clear their debts????

    Sack the board.
Do you mean Lawwell, Reid, Desmond and whomever else thats attempting to run the club with astute finacial frugality?
    * we dont need the European money, as long as the prudent frugal gang can balance the books isnt that all that matters?
What I saw on the park against Utrecht was no better than what Mowbray dished up in fact it verywell may have been worse.
Celtic in the annals of fitba history in Europe are a laughing stock literally a joke, to those so called faithful no matter what Celtic fans, all I can say you ghuys have one strange sense of humour!

IF we don't win the league, then every single piece of Celtic FC should be questioned, that includes the board too.

3 seasons without a spl trophy would mean armageddon considering our budget.

If the core of this thread is either Lenny or The Board then it's no contest. The Board have done a great financial job reducing/keeping the debt down at a time when loads has been spent on Lennoxtown and keeping the Club's profile high despite the dire results. Just glad Peter did not take the Arsenal job a few years back. As for Lenny outsmarted by Managers from as far apart as Dingwall an Utrecht. Men against a boy!!
