.... Just to add to this. Why do the board not look at the team and think "We need to spend to accumulate". If the board had of gave Strachen money when we bought Flood. We would have had a better chance to win the league which would have resulted in us getting Champions league money and would have burried Rangers. Two years later and look whats happened. Lost the league two years in a row, cannot compete for players, need to change way too much.

 

I watched Limerick take Cork to extra time in the GAA ... THAT was fighting spirit !!!!

 

Wow. How bizarre. Celtic didn't create even one chance in the whole match :s . Amazing evening...
But thumbs up for the Celtic fans. Not so much as i expected unfortunatly.

Nice moment after te match. A Celtic fan stepped outta his car. Takes of his Celtic trainingskit + hat and gives it together with a hug to an Utrecht fan

Good luck in the competition, hopefully the Bhoys play with more passion there...

Absolute joke, the footballing world is laughing at us and rightly so. We need to really get our act together is we dont want to slip down even further. But i feel that it will take more than a year to come good and we should expect more of the same during the season

 

Been saying it for ages mate ,there not Centre Forwards and there certainly not wingers .

 

I think whats so dissapointing about this is that we have been playing well and it looked like we were getting a real team together. Theres still something suspect about this Celtic team, you dont get beat 4-0 by Utrecht if you are a quality team. This season was all about the league but a run in Europe would have been very nice. We have to win the league this season. If we dont then the season has been a failure. If we do win the league then this result will be long forgotten.

 

why are they playing in those positions then ?

 

subs where wrong starting 11 wrong maloney should have played instead of MAF and zaluska should have saved 1st pen we were hopeless MAF should a went off instead of sammy even then we were still only playing 1 striker

 

because we haven't bought a proper centre forward that is fit currently. we did buy 7 midfielders though

 

Dont know ask the man in charge and Mowbray ,personally i would'nt have them anywhere near the team ,my view anyway.

Maloney was born in malaysia , what i also notice about the 11, is that there is only 10 as you didnt give the team a goalie

They deserved to win, but I think it was a disgrace that their player didn't get sent off for heabutting Brown in the face. It couldn't possibly be a yellow, violent conduct is a straight red, it's either a straight red if the ref sees it or nothing at all if he didn't see it, I can't understand how it could have been a yellow.
