Anyonelse think Forrest has similar stature, speed and style of play to Bellamy?
This is a comparison of attributes they both share. It isn't a "Is Forrest as good as Bellamy" thread.

aye there's a few similarities, this bhoy can be a legend. he allready seems very mature, and looks like really enjoys playing for us.

Bellamy looks like a whippet when he runs.. Forrest doesn't look as quick or have the same running style but he just seems to glide past players deceptively.. Im not sure who Forrest reminds me off.. Maybe a bit like David Bentley in his Blackburn season but Im just trying to think of similarities to someone off the top of my head..
For the goal Forrest scored it looked like he let the ball go a touch too far but just leathered it into the net regardless and seems to have a knack for keeping shots low..

As Jim Craig said in commentary , keep giving the ball to Forrest , despite the times when things won't come off for him it's worth supplying time and again because he makes things happen , both out wide and infield.. I should also say his first touch is fantastic...

It's not a thread about Forrest being as good as Bellamy so no need to panick. It's a thread about attributes that both players share eg the hunched shoulders.

I quite like Forrest's style and his manner on the pitch. I just hope we hold onto him for a few years yet to get the best out of him. :icon_mrgreen:

Henrik Larsson, Greatest player i've ever witnessed. Won't ever be beaten.
I'm glad he is taking his chance! That is another added to the midfield which is staring to become fiercly competitve and the players are responding to the challange. Great find by Lennon who was willing to take the chance on the young man, who under Mogga may never have gotten the chance!

To early to compare with Bellamy but if he wires in then there is every chance he could be in that region of ability.

i'd say we should calm down and let him develop rather than put pressure on him

Can`t agree with that. McGeady`s an oustanding talent..... regardless of how he performs week in week out he is an exceptional footballer,i.m.o. I would hope Forrest will develop into the player we hope he can be and right now its a pleasure to watch him. In terms of physique and stature, running style etc, right now he reminds me of Simon Donnelly more than C.B..

this kid is magic , he is a carbon copy of mcgeady when he first broke through ! (un-earthed) and (gem) springs to mind , maybe also a sign the youth acadamy does work !

same as Bellamy in the way neither have a neck. But seriously, similar in direct play and sprinting past people at ease. Can't wait to see how this lad progresses

He can have some of my neck, it's big enough for the both us. Not enough for Bellers though, maybe if hed signed.
