aye i don't get that who is going to spend 22m on 2 players who are 32 and 35? load of * i know city said they will slash the wage bill by 1 million but how are they going to get that kind of money for them both?

A lot of pish, both nothing but unsubstantiated rumours. All Cuellar has said is he'd like to return, all he is doing is speaking fondly of his old club which most players do, the guy is looking for £20-25,000 and there is no way Rangers will pay that. As for the Kayal rumour, the Scottish Press has taken advantage of his poor english skills and his trust and spun a story out of hee haw. Different owners at the manky mob, same PR machine.

Its a combination of inflated prices and man city realising they have to regain a large percentage of money they have invested into these players.

Yer I agree, I was just being facetious with the bake sale comment, I can see why man city are saying they want 22million because will players going at inflated prices the obviously feel they are a chance at regaining some wasted money, but yes no one will pay close to that.

 

Article says City aim to recoup half the money they paid, they can aim all they want but they'll miss bigtime

 

Did it not say they would be looking to re-coup half of the 22m,which is 11m,of which is 5m to much. Test the water 5 million for the pair.

TBH it nothing we didn't know. I think Given will end up at Celtic, Bellamy will end up at Cardiff. Cuellar won't stay or leave Villa until they have a manager
