We got 2million odd for Boruc plus the saving on his wages * offer the 2million for Westwood and there is our number 1 for the next 4/5 years , Given would be class but only short term we need to think on the long term .
if we wait around to sign westwood on a pre contract i fear clubs will offer him deals we cant even dream on matching ,

I think lenny has been trying his best to sign top quality players and he should be applauded for the effort he is putting in, now compare this to last season with the targets mr Mowbray was bringing In and I think we can all see we have definently moved up a class in the standard of players we are getting and going after, so far lenny has been doing A great job behind the scenes

I dont think Lennon is spinning any * Mick when he says he is after him or him ,i think Celtic were genuine in there bids and at the time where close to signing whatever player but the usual * of there wage demands blew it out the water ,so Lennon is talking straight to the support about this ,maybe thats a fault with him and maybe he should'nt say as much but then the support would say * is going on in there ,Catch 22 mate ,no win situation.

 

Very true but I just think the rags are there to get our hopes up and every time I hear him mention the big names we're linked too, I get over excited Maybe its my fault . I do agree, he cant win either way because some people like to know whats going on. Personally, I would rather just hear about the done deals/ or even just medicals. Lennon is being coy on given because of missing out on bellamy, straight after he declared his interest 3 other clubs came in for him, im sure the board have had words as he is giving away nothing.
