    Euro League has developed, the economic gap between "Uefa Euro League" and "champions League" isn't that big anymore. That makes Euro League vital for us. We need to qualify.

    The final is played at Aviva in Dublin. How about that! Nothing is impossible, and as a football supporter, you can't afford being realistic all the time.

    EUROPA FINAL IN DUBLIN?

    IF im right i just heard this,well theres something to work towards,its gonna be a tough few weeks but we need to band together and get through this.Priority is SPL but having the final of europa in dublin would be sweet as :)

    There are quite a few great teams in the qualifying section and thats gonna be tough but hopefully we can get on track and start playing some nice football.

    Perosonally want Fortune to start games along side Samaras and Hooper just behind,and start puttting on Paddy Into the 60-70 minute mark(maybe even earlier) and someone get Concrete shoes for Mulgrew and we bail him out over the fourth road bridge.

    Anyways Dublin could be a dream but we allowed to dream

    They lost to Partizan 2:1.:bbpd:

    As for HJK, I'd take them really. Their main threat is that guy Camara and Juho Makela (ex-Hearts striker), so I guess we'd deal with them pretty easily.

    yeah, i agree, Europe is too much a distraction for this new team; look at Strachan, Artmedia ended up being one of the best things that ever happened for him-didnt feel like it at the time obviously but it gave him the whole year to rebuild the squad and focus exclusively on the SPL which we of course ended up winning by a mile!

    of course we shouldnt just not try to qualify for europe but i would say its no disaster if we didnt have much euro competition this year; this is probably the first time in 10 years i've felt this way but i honestly think that the squad would benefit in the long run

    still, i'll cross my fingers and think of dublin :icon_mrgreen:

    Maybe it`s a good thing we drop to the europa league
    (if we even get there) this season its all about steadying the ship from that joke of a season last year , i think the champions league is a stage too big for this team at the moment and feel the europa league will be good experience of european football , a good run in this tournament + SPL title would do nicely :50:
