Arsenal v Celtic

Well done Celtic, another spirited performance against a class team, okay we lost 3-2, but the heads never dropped, that's the difference from last season. I think Neil is building a good pool of players which will easily overcome the Huns and bring back the SPL title to CP, Forrest, Mr Mexico and hooper look pretty good over this weekend.

 

thought defense wasn't too bad considering who we were up against although Mulgrew is *!!! at faultfor 2 goals, and maloney lost the ball about 30 yards from goal that cost the other goal,all in all a good second half

 

big sammy changed it but i cant help thinking if we had two up front all game it woulda been different,think arsenal dropped a gear after 3-0 but * it that was there choice

clear to see lennys got them fighting for the cause,roll on Wednesday have high hopes if we can sneak an early goal,proud of that fight back only 1 goal away from winning it

but on the other hand why does it take us a 3 goal defficet before we look interested

 

Im guessing you didnt watch the game then? He changed it when he came on. Judging on pre-season he should be in the starting 11

 

what a difference a couple of changes can do we totaly dominated the last 20mins .that was a great come back we could have won the tourny. great signs for the comin season just need the defence sorted

 

wouldn't have got back into the game though without him, swings and roundabouts

 

im a proud man. at the start i though we were going to get spanked if we score 1st on wednesday we will go throug, i really believe that.

Samaras has a profound impact on our game when he is used as a sub. But please, Lenny, don't let him take PK-s. Ki can do it better.

Lads i knew our starting 11 would get outclassed by arsenal it wasnt a strong side! but when the subs came on they changed the game in our favour and a big shout out to sammy! i actualy cant wait till wednesday now

edit: We have definatly found a fan favourite in juarez he has some heart and commitment!

Positives:
Two very good center back in Rogne and Hooiveld considering our left back kept getting exposed.
Juarez was EVERYWHERE ! Amazing box to box midfielder full of energy.
Samaras came on and changed the game, fair play to him but dont give him any more penalties.
Cervi instead of Zaluska anybody?
Overall created plenty of chances against a solid arsenal defence!

Very obvious that we need a left back and a goalkeeper and we will be pretty solid this season.

Very happy with that performance. Cant wait for wednesday !

Juarez is class, best player in a celtic shirt by a mile today, up against the spl teams he will do very very well and chip in with 10+ goals a season, great signing.

 

fair play to the lads for making it respectable.
It hopefully proved to be more useful than it looked like being at half time.
If Lennon has to take one thing from that game it has to be that Charlie Mulgrew just wont do at left back. Not the lad's fault but he's not good enough.
