Have to laugh at the folk who say he has no end product, he had the most assists in the league last year along with davis and was our highest scoring midfielder, scored 4 more than davis aswell who was voted the player of the year last season, to say some of our fans take him for granted is an understatement.

I personally think moving to Moscow would be a good move for him. Sure it ain't the premiership. But the Russian League is a pretty good standard and Moscow is an amazing city.

he nor hinkel have ever said they want to leave dont think its a coincdence they are 2 of our top earners the club are doing absolutely nothing to make aiden stay in fact they seem to be doing everything to make him leave seems like all they want is the wage bill lowered and their paws on the millions which if anyone thinks will be put back in the team is dreaming we were dire last season and are about to start this one by selling 3 of our best players madness!!

If you are one of Celtic's creative midfielders you shoud be at the top of the assists table as we should be winning against nearly all of the teams in the league with the squad we have and scoring plenty of goals in the process.

Unfortunately McGeady doesn't get near enough assists for the amount of times he has possession in dangerous areas. This is purely down to the fact that his decision making and final delivery do not stand up to the rest of his undoubted talent.

I get so frustrated watching him continually shoot when he should pass (normallly over the bar), try to beat another man when he should shoot and generally take the wrong option. It's this vital ingredient that is missing from his game and is probably why we have not seen too many bids for him and none from any top sides.

Yeh he "feels". This doesnt mean he has come out and said he wants to leave, so until that day, Mcgeady hasnt said he wants to leave. That to me is Lenny trying to encourage people to make an offer.

I think selling him will be a big mistake, yeh we could make £9.5mil from it, (which is pretty poor) but when we have our championship replacements i think we will be left a little red faced.

Hes a Celtic fan, and im sure if Lenny doesnt accept any offers he will be more then happy with that.

Or maybe its, he gets plenty of balls into the box, but when you have samaras in fortune in their recieving were not going to convert many. If you dont have decent strikers you wont get many assists

And he is at the top of the Assist table.

We need the dosh more than we need a swop. £10M will find a good LB, CB and Goalkeeper. That will win the league for sure.

AIDEN McGEADY can net a cool £2.5million more by signing for Spartak Moscow instead of a Premiership club.

The Russian side are pulling out all the stops to net the Celtic winger - by dangling the lucrative Russian tax system in front of him.
Personal tax in Russia is just 13 per cent, which would see McGeady, right, cashing in if he changes his mind over a switch to Moscow.
McGeady's first choice is a switch to the Premiership, but that would hinge on Aston Villa selling James Milner to Manchester City.
McGeady's new agent Struan Marshall enjoys good relations with Villa boss Martin O'Neill.
Two of his clients, Stewart Downing and Emile Heskey, have both secured moves to Villa Park in the past 18 months.
Spartak have tabled a £9.5m bid and want McGeady to sign a five-year deal.
They have a strict wage structure, but McGeady would still net more than £9m over the course of his deal that will be worth around £35,000-a-week if he signs.
A comparable deal in Britain would see McGeady pocket £2.5m less because of the UK tax system.
Moscow coach Valeri Karpin is determined to persevere with the club's attractive passing game and he sees McGeady as being fundamental to the development of that in the Champions League.
Unlike Celtic - who face a KO from Europe's premier competition in midweek - Spartak will be going directly into the group stages.
With Hoops gaffer Neil Lennon admitting he wants four MORE players on top of the seven he has already signed so far this summer, the Russians know Celtic need their cash. Owner Leonid Fedun sent his transfer broker Evegeny Smolentsev to Glasgow for talks this week and he travelled to London yesterday to watch McGeady in his first action of the season in the Emirates Cup.
Smolentsev has been warned that he faces the axe if the move for McGeady fails.
A Russian insider said: "Spartak are determined to get McGeady. The fact Smolentsev is in Britain says a lot. If the transfer doesn't go through his job will be in jeopardy because the club don't have an alternative target to him.
"Spartak play a passing style of football and see McGeady as ideal for that. He's being compared here to Chelsea's Russian international Yuri Zhirkov.
"They believe they will get him, even though McGeady wants to play in England."
Former journalist Smolentsev hass refused to comment on his side's interest last night. He told Sport of the World: "I'm in a meeting. Call me later."
Cash is no problem for the Russian giants who have also bid £18m in an attempt to * Lille's Ivory Coast international Gervinho from under Liverpool's noses and also signed £7.5m Argentinian defender Nicolas Pareja from Espanyol last Friday.
They will step up efforts to sign keeper Sergei Ryzhikov from Russian champions Rubin Kazan.
McGeady remains their top target, howevver, and the Russians hope the extra cash on offer will see them get their man.
