I think this guy was only looking for a last pay day and wouldn't have been able to play for any length of time - else why would he look for such a high guarantee. WE need to look elsewhere and let Bullard rot!

We have more than enough good midfielder :icon_mrgreen: McGeady Maloney McCourt McGinn Ledley Brown Ki Crosas Juarez Forrest Ferry more than enough quality there. We need strikers and centre halfs.

    McGeady Brown Ledley Maloney

    Juarez
    Ki Crosas
    Forrest Mcginnn.

Two different midfields there and both more than good enough for the SPL

Too big of a gamble for us would be better off using the cash for other players , we have to pay a loan fee then on top of that atleast 30k a week ,

he was wanting an extra 20 or 30 k p.w on top of his 45k p.w week which would have been partially subsidised. So, errrm. aye. Jog on

    agreed!

we still need a goalscoring midfielder, cos none of our current players have the ability to score outside the box and make lung bursting runs, a fit jimmy bullard can do that, and he is useful at free kicks as well.

Bullard may well be a good player but in fairness with what he offers we already hav players who can do it aslong as they are played right starting with.
    1. free kicks - Maloney, Mulgrew and Ki have all got it in them to strike a nice free kick
    2. Goals - Maloney again and the odd one from Mcgeady mixed with the assists that the two can get not to mention Ki's possible assisting.
    3. attacking play - Maloney, Mcgeady, Ledley, Brown, Crosas and Ki, thanks to arrival of the mexican bhoy if in atleast one case his defensive nature should free up Brown to attack more as he did kind of well with Hibs and thus lack with us, also some will shoot me for mentioning Crosas but with the way he can pick a pass and the shot he has i feel that if you play him in a more attacking role he would be a great player.
so for me with those mentioned and other players that have not, we are more then able to make up the lack of goals from last season and Bullard is not really needed a great deal other then for his "experience" of losing, atleast with Sol his "experience" has actually got medals to go with it.

This one is far from over. Wouldnt be surprised if he signs with us. The way i understand it, the problems are more to do with Bullards agents rather than Bullard himself.

I think he'll be with us this week.
