Barrera single handedly carried the offense
If not for his brilliant start of the season no way we qualify to the playoffs

Juarez had a good season
He was great going forward and provided a good cover so barrera could attack freely

We will miss Barrera much more than Juarez tho

Veron was as dependable as ever
Remember we set a record for least allowed goals in a season

This with Pilkolin as his partner and Bernal in goal

With all the injuries that the team suffered as well as Juarez and Barrera joining the NT early Veron once again showed why hes the best CB in the league

Great now its official, now i'll go to drink all weekend to celebrate! Now i have one question that may sound stupid. How do you guys pronounce celtic? I mean i haven't met many Scottish to see how they pronounce it hahahaha

you are only talking about last semester, the first semester (after the championship) we didnt qualify to the play offs remember??? in fact we had the worse start of the season ever.we lost eight games in a row and veron had probably his worse season since he got to mexico juarez and barrera still did good, anyway i respect your opinion but they all play different position and had different roles in the pitch

Yes I'm only taking in to account the last semester

I don't take in to account the whole years as they are two different competitions

But you are right Veron had a pretty bad first semester
But so did most of the team

No, I agree with Fabenzo, they play different positions.

BTW, Juárez never played in his natural position always improvised as a RB he was a bad marker (remember USA first goal or the Chicharito vs Juárez match?) and he stated that Tuca told him not to join attack so much. In fact if you remember in the national team everybody was like "wow, we didn't know he was so good!" because Aguirre put him on his natural position letting him join attack.

Different to tell if you are better than two guys who are in their position and you are not.

Yup... in fact Verón is more fame that anything else. Just like Leandro, they are in the starting team because of their past glories, many young talents play way better than them now.

But you know english.... open a Celtic youtube video, there you can grab the pronounciation.... when you don't know the language it is tough even to tell apart words.... but you can do it!!!!

Haha, they might not have known what you meant. To say it like kell-tik is how you say the people from a thousand years ago that lived around Scotland, Wales and Ireland(the Celtic nations). If you know what I mean. To say it like Sell-tik is the way to say the football club.

Castro is the best RB in Mexico, (I remember Robinho being nullified in Copa America)...

Anyway if Juárez didn't play his positions it is unfair to rate him or even to compare him.

By the example I know you don't know our youngsters. In that tournament the team was composed of bench and like 3 guys from Pumas Sub20. The defense looked bad because of Tuca's friend Gonzalez, not because the level of the cubs.

jalex i agree with you 95% i would say , but i think veron still has some potential and he is very loved here by the fans i respect so much that he has had many offers but he refuses cause he really loves the team just remember how many times those * from america club have tempted him .
