    I've never understood the Boruc love-in for the past couple of years, he's been as much of a liability as he has a good player.

    Haven't been following the latest but the posts at the beginning of this thread were saying it's reported to be a £1.6m fee. If that's the case then I'd be feeling it's a bit pointless when we'd have at least gotten one more season out of him which could be worth more to us (in terms of the title and for Europe the following season) if it's a succesfull one..

    I thought it was the huns who were meant to be selling there best players. Boruc,Mcgeady and Hinkel look like they will be off. Boruc is a legend and a truly world class goalkeeper who will be missed. Zaluska is a good keeper where Boruc was a great one.

    Cheerio Artur, one of my favourite celts :shamrock:.

    I'm happy with Zaluska having the no.1 jersey though. Not seen anything of Cervi, but have heard he's meant to be not bad. So, I suppose he could be the 2nd choice.

    Well. Celtic don't pick the price. We could have rejected, maybe against Borucs own will, and then letting him go for free next season. No garantuee of a higher offer.

    My worry is that the huns will open up a lead before the end of the transfer window and put needless pressure on Lennon. We are desperately short of first team players and only a few weeks away from kick off,

    Not much point getting rid (of Hinkel) if we dont have better lined up though. Also any team selling their supposed better players is hardly going to attract others.
