1.5m nope id keep hold of him dependant on what contract he has left, with a good set of midfielders behind him his value will sore,,and he may come good, compare 1.5 to 7m flecher just went for,he is not almost 5 times the player sammy is.

Sami's time is up...I suspect Celtic are keen to off load him no matter what is said in the press.I'd take the £1.5m for him just to get him out the door, if a bidding war starts we may get £2.5m if we're lucky!
If Sami goes i'd like to wish him well and funnily enough despite his indifferent form for us i believe if he gets a move to Spain he'd do well there.

SAMMY cant leave he is the best forward we have by far and he is still young and maturing. He was great against man u. got the ball and ran directly at them with some great touches around fletcher. i will be really upset if we end up selling him.

The problem is that Sammy doesnt perform like he did against Man Utd very often, I am one of his biggest supporters (for some reason I love being frustrated every game) but I feel that last nights game helped us maybe get a few more quid for him.

Last night was a friendly, a meaningless game. Samaras usually shines in these games. Make it a big game and he's gash.

I think we are doing with Sammy exactly what we did with Donati. He will probably play the CL Qual also just to try and up his value so some mug comes in and pays for him. Yes Sammy played well last night. But it was a friendly and players are still getting into their game. When everyone is up to speed Sammy will once again be seen as the weak link

Cant believe people want rid when I can actually promise you he is twice the player of Murphy. Samaras does has flashes of quality and will score goals, Murphy wont.

I dont care how Murphy has played for previous clubs. When he pulls on the Hoops he will get the same backing all the players get.

As for Sammy he has had a few years he. He has had spells where he has played well but to be honest his time is up and if we can recoup the money for him its a good deal.:celt_2:

So it doesn't bother you any way that Murphy has managed 14 goals in 110 games?
