Dissappointed with the st pauli players, lacked quality and were just a bunch of hatchet men tbh.

Brown was fantastic and has been since lennon came, MAF was good, rasmussen was * but scored, paddy was * but scored a world class goal, hinkel was OK, mcgowan isn't going to make it, thompson was good, wilson looks out of place, caddis was ok never really noticed him tbh, crosas, never made an impact and zaluska was solid.

He should have got the jail for that , that was a * disgrace he knew the keeper would be up to challenge for the ball and just carelessly stuck his studs in the air :38:

Someone mentioned earlier what if that was boruc in goal getting assaulted, i don't think the st. Pauli player would have turned up for training the next day, wouldve called in sick with a broken jawline!

"They capped off a good spell of pressure on the hour mark when McCourt made a blistering run down the left flank, beating four players and converting a low effort into the far corner of the net."

Your honour, once again I rest my case..........

Brown was great today def motm. the game was very boring but so have been most of the games niel has been in charge for. MAF was good plays too slow at times thought mccort was good especially in the first half offers creativity something we have been missing all season since naka left. He scored a great goal too though he should have passed it inside to the open player but he only had one thing on his mind after making that run. I would have liked to see forest get a run and some of the younger players. Crosas was terrible really disappointed int he way he has turned out.

Only saw the second half. More exciting than a lot of friendlys you see. Wonder goal from Paddy, if someone in the premiership did that they'd be raving about it for years (they still haven't stopped going on about Giggs' goal against Arsenal back in the 90s.)
I know we weren't exactly playing a class outfit, but if that's they way we're going to be playing under Lennon then I will welcome his appointment.

To be honest I think we were pretty evenly matched against St Pauli. However, this certainly WASN'T the usual Celtic starting 11.

McCourt's goal was absolutely superb... Pure class. He is certainly our player to take off the bench in the second half to perform a little magic next season. Rasmussen... just does what Rasmussen does. The guy is like magic. He said he would score inside the box about every other game if you gave him a full game.. and he actually does seem to be a pretty good poacher. I hope we keep him. He may be our next Scott McDonald.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about St Pauli, aside from the fact that their fans seem to be pretty wild and a lot of fun to be with. But I think they are a pretty good side. This isn't their normal first team either. Many of their players seemed pretty desperate to secure a place in the new Bundesliga St Pauli.

Not that it is any excuse for some of the tackles, aren't St Pauli kind of known for their rather rough style of play? They're definitely NOT a no-contact, "nice" side. That challenge on Zaluska was absolutely criminal though. I hope that there might be some discipline against him coming yet.

The tall black striker seemed like a good player but what was all the bad tackles about , just a friendly.

Boring match , good to see mccourt score another great goal !

A thought it was a good watch for a friendly.

McCourt's run was the highlight for me but he did make some stupid runs and passes aswell.

The tackle on Zaluska's was howling. At first a didnae see it till Zaluska's bounced up about tae take the young mans head off then the replay showed it.

Brown was man of the match for me. Really got the ball up the park, wasnae greedy at all and fed some right nice passes. Had a great one-two in the final 3rd but McGinn got greedy and scuffed the shot when Brown could've easily slotted home. He skied a shot early on but other than that top marks fae him. Would love tae see him like that aw next season.

Overall no bad game. Great set of fans mixed in singing each others songs.

    Up The St. Pauli.
