[Cross Platform] Red Dead Redemption

HMV for £40 includes 800 microsoft points and a 1 year warranty on the disc
Had about 1hour of playing it, a bit slow on starting, mate said it picks up soon enough.
Not tried the online yet, does sound good

 

Online is tough to start because the americans have a few days headstart. The mexican stand-off at te start of deathmatchs is very good, total chaos.

How do you get to Mexico? Do you just ride or is it through completing levels?

First impressions are excellent, though haven't played much- the weathers too nice!

see to unlock new places do u just complete all the missions like on gta, i'l have to keep going back to (B) bonnie and the other guys and finnish all the missions and eventually make it to a new place. How is everyone making there money? Hunting boars gets you a bit but there hard to find

 

Totally agree with you there, after shooting all those mexicans whilst on the raft, and then you play the mexican missions, and this excellent tune makes it quite a cinematic experience.

Up near the mountains near benedicts pass you'll find cougars and wolves they fetch a fair price. Also i lost my gold stallion which i'm melted about, he was a fast horse.

I've beasted this game for 2 days, neglecting the sunshine, and i have amassed a fortune of $56. :icon_mrgreen:

 

don't know if I should get this game, I think it could be a game I could be bored with in 2 weeks time.

 

Replay value is there mate-trust me. I'm on my first playthrough trying to be the "good guy" and see the effect it has on the outcome. Then do it again as the "bad guy". Multiplayer, from what i've heard, has potential to be good with a lot eh mates.
