    Would love to see bullard come to CP, has been the heart of fulham and of hulls midfield now for a good while so why cant he do it for celtic. He would with no doubt lift the spirits of the player he is a legend in the changing room and would bring a bit of fight an quality to the centre of the park aswel imo..:icon_mrgreen:

    as this talk of a 30k a week salary, is that going to be split between celtic and hull or would we be paying the full 30k? would be interesting to see how Brown plays alongside the likes of Ledley and Bullard, brown hasnt had a regular midfield partner, hopefully with some quality beside him he'll begin to develop into the player we hoped we'd have seen by now.

    I would imagine that we would be paying it all as he is actually on 45k a week at Hull they may pay the other 15 or he may waiver it. I think we can pay so much because it is a loan and not tied down to a huge contract. Also should not cause rifts as it is a loan also.

    i think with loan deals go? the club doing the loaning in has to pay at least half the salary and pay some sort of loan fee?

    Its just a decision between the clubs and player. Ie. If we are paying 30k a week and Bullard waivers the other 15k then chances are we wont have to pay a fee.

    Just like the Robbie Keane deal, we paid his whole 65k a week salary and spurs waived the loan fee.

    So basically we will prob never know what the deal is.:celt_2:

    Sometimes no fee is paid or any of the wage expense is picked up by the loaning club, but that tends to be younger players that teams want to farm out for experience. Sometimes a fee and full wages have to be picked up and in the case of a player of Bullards quality, this might be what we have to do. I am not certain, but didn't we pick up all of Keanes wages? From what I have heard about what Bullard gets paid, I can't see us paying his full wage and a fee.

    A deal has already been worked out and I am sure with PL at the helm it is financially sound for us without breaking our pay structure too much.

    Just guessing though.
