The sad thing is, if we won every domestic competition we entered next season, all the people who decide not to renew (except for financial reasons) - will be back like a shot.

    I'll be renewing.

Have only renewed over last two years because of Champions League - we won't be seeing that again for a long while. What can the Board do to convince me to part with my hard earned cash? and don't give me the faithful through and through bit. I stood in the Jungle in the early 1990's, when we were really pish i.e Muggleton, Biggins and Co. I will be holding off till the last possible moment before I decide. Anyway you'll be able to pick your seat next season, lucky if we get 40k season ticket holders next year... as they say you can only fool the people some of the time... and time has run out for those in power at Celtic. We blew it in January 2009.

listen mate the board dident go out a buy * players,,tony mowbray did that.the board backed mowbrays judgement...were they wrong to back the manager?is that not what they are suppse to do and what celtic fans have been crying out for for years.

we have what we have just now,its not the boards fault, you heard lenny say a clearout is on the cards in the summer..to have a clear out means new players coming in ..if the fans do what you are gonna do we will never get any better ,im glad your in the minority

Spot on :50: Some fans are talking about the board as if they've barely spent a penny. We spent the 3rd most money in the UK in January (Only behind Man Utd & Man City). I think the board are just an easy target for a lot of people, even easier to blame them than the players and manager for some.

    Listen mate

You think the board are totally blameless in all of this... No matter what we spent in Januarry, its bad management of the club... Allowing your top goal scorer to leave bring in loan signings, and untested signings allowing your captain to leave.

Again, as you obviously are not understanding my posts... the past 7 years, the quality has diminished, yet the prices rise... is this good enough, and the board are blameless in your book.

And you think im in the minority, 17,000 at hampden on sat, and we will see how many are there tomorow night....

I think me and a few others are just people who are coming out with the balls to say we will wait until the last minute, to see action the board takes 1st, without once again, blindly spending my cash on season book, and the players on the park as well as the manager are again, not good enough.

If you think Im in the minority I think you should wake up mate, if its not this season, and it continues like this, there will be a lot more than me and a few others thinking the same.

we will see how many are there tomorow, near half or less than half will not be a minority mate, it will be worrying! (for the board I hope)

Fair play to anyone who still comes back next season and fair play to those that don't.I can see the reasons from either side. I think not renewing might be the shock that the board need. They continually pull the wool over our eyes as the seasons go on. All these asian players coming in to sell shirts yet they dont get a game.Bringing in loan players to plug the gaps temporarily. It's disgraceful imo. As fans we put a lot of money into the club yet the product we are being served is sub standard and the staff on the pitch are not doing their job. The board have to take some flack too. They sit behind closed doors and spout the "celtic family" stuff and release a statement to the press now and again yet how often do we actually see these guys?! They appear to be so far removed from the support yet they happily pick up wages paid by us the fans. Its not good enough.

I am undecided if i'll renew. My round trip to games is close to 700 miles so i dunno if i can justify that when all i am seeing on the pitch is guys that don't care about Celtic.

Mate the board aren't totally blameless, they've made plenty mistakes along the way, however, this season their only mistake was getting the wrong manager in but then hindsight is always 20/20.

They supported TM this season financially so this season the majority of the blame has to rest with the players and manager, the manager has already lost his job now it's time for some of the players to be shown the door as well.

We had to reduce the wages from the MON era, we just couldn't sustain those wages so obviously the quality will go down however with a decrease in the quality of signings I was looking for an increase in passion in commitment to make up for it, sadly that hasn't happened.

The board have taken us all for a ride over the past few years , They are the people who control the purse strings , They are the guys who employ managers and endorse all signings and they have allowed us to fall this low , The only way to get their attention is to hurt them financially .

I will ultimately renew but I am still smarting from after the UEFA cup final when we should have strengthened with one or two quality players on top of the quality that we had when we had an outstanding team. We could have done something serious the next season but lacked the ambition. So this downsizing has been going on for some time. In this time I have had to endure some of the worst players that I have ever seen in a Celtic shirt in and if honest then if money was tight then no f*cking way would I pay to watch this *!!

Last season is the first time in over 20 years I've not had a season ticket, and I'm in no hurry to renew.

Never understood why so many fans dwell on this. The season AFTER Seville was even better. Romped the league, won the Scottish Cup and knocked Barca out of Europe.

But you could tell the team needed strengthening the team was aging and after Larsson left the board didn't make enough funds available to replace him and add players to that team hence it all built up to black sunday when MON's aging team blew the league.

That team was still more than good enough to win that league mate, Bellamy, Petrov, Hartson, Sutton, Lennon, Balde etc. It's a totally different board from 2003 (Except for Desmond) so they can't be blamed for that.

Too many fans hold the lack of activity during last January's transfer window against the board, apparently they offered WGS the money but he didn't think he needed it as we were so far ahead in the league, it was easy to say in retrospect we needed a few more players in after the Huns won the title, it wasn't that essential at the time IMO.

This season the manager had money to splash, and he has bought total duds for the most part. The likes of 3.8m Fortune on 2.5m on Ki (Even though the jury is still out) were the wrong signings at the wrong time. It's not fair to blame the board when they supplied funds, we have been the Man City of Scotland compared to the lack of budget other teams have have.

Its not the funds the board are being blamed for this season

they have to take accountability in allowing Mogga to spend and release players the way he did.

You have to remember, we also got a few bob in this season too.

The board allowed the manager to do his thing, it would be wrong not to. He clearly didn't like McDonald & Robson as they didn't fit in with his deluded 'philosophy'. Aye we did recoup some money, definitely more expenditure though.

I think we'll spend more money than we have in many a year this summer, it's essential. The board know they have to.
