His time's up. He's done nothing the past 2 seasons not improving or anything, if your looking for a young player thats improved just look at Messi.. McGeady is no where improved as much as he has.

 

firstly because they did in January....Birmingham made an offer in the region of 8-10 million pounds for him...

also mcgeady has more champions league games under his belt than these three put together...

he has an asset that neither milner or kranjacr have in that he can take a man on, on the outside...

 

ask any defender who they fear at celtic and the answer is MCGEADY....
will you all * up and get of his back....

 

Come on mate, the majority of SPL defenders know how to handle him now.


His 1st touch and decision making are nothing short of abysmal.

 

Yeah i agree, his shooting technique is absolutely dreadful. * like and his crossing aint that much better either. He is a one trick pony and is becoming so predictable and obvious. We would be better off buying an Alan Thompson like wide player who would be more effective to the team in so many ways.

 

Hopefully the petulant little * is watching tonites game from the stands .

 

Critcism as a footballer is fair enough, but personal insults to our players is harsh IMO.

 

I am afraid respect has to be earned and Aiden just acts like a spolit little bhoy .

 

A think its worth getting him on that left wing a bit more, we play 1 dimensional in a way and teams know if they stop mcgeady they will stop us, end off, aiden has been a bit of a scapegoat and doesnt merit the abuse he takes from the stands or from people outside the stadium etc!!!

I think he is a fantastic footballer probly 1 of the best ever to have come threw the academy, we all know his delivery and his shooting should be much better but a lot of people forget he still is only 23 years old!!!!

As the previous pester said, respect has to be earned, and with some of McGeady's off & on field antics, my respect ran dry for this boy a long long time ago....

But theres enough for us to critise on field with Aiden, so lets just stop there...

 

Aiden McGeady

Heard from a reliable source that Aiden has decided to go this Summer. Couple of English Premier Teams in for him with Birmingham leading the way. Realises he won't progress any further at Celtic. Forget the £8million that has been quoted, more like £6 million tops and the Club can't afford to turn this down with the expected drop in Revenue next season. I think it's best for all concearned that Aiden goes now, he's had a poor season and his value is depreciating by the month.

why i just dont think he does as much as he could - yeah he draws players away but thats no use when he cant get through them - and to be fair thats often cos no one is providing close enough back up but still .........

im just no happy with him or his chin

 

Ya dropping him will make his value skyrocket...if he needs to be sold then play him in the remaining games, hope that he puts in some performances similar to earlier this year and sell him only if absolutely necessary.

Lennon's given him and the others a chance to prove themselves over the next few games starting with tonight. Lets see how they perform.
