I feel incredibly sorry for Lennon. He was handed a poisoned chalice. MON and WGS always had good things to say for the board so I suspect the problem does not lie there other than they actively support their managers and TM was an unmitigated mistake.

I hope the support let Lennon know how much he is appreciated on Tuesday.

As for criticizing the players: they get paid more than enough to entitle us to criticise them whenever we want. We pay their fking wages. They are underperforming. I'd get bagged on Monday morning if I * up the way they did today.

Is it just me or do any of you's think some of the players wages should be frozen for a week, they will know themselves that they've under performed but they dont give a * they still get paid £20 000 a week. A WEEK for * sake thats more than £1 million a year. Obviously they all don't get paid that but * me something has to be done about that.

 

Even if they are on 5000 a week they should get there wages docked!!
We normal * that struggle by week in week out dont get paid if we are posted missing at work!!

Sorry guys, but I still like Aiden. I think he is a very talented player with a lot of form. When the rest of the squad though are playing total pish, I think he gets depressed and shows it in his play during games like this. He is one of the few on the pitch who DO know what it means to play for Celtic. Picture yourselves in his position, on a squad with mostly foreigners who have no idea what it means to play for the team, and not really caring much. You try all you can to educate them and get them to respect the club. There's only so much one guy can do. He has a bad game, usually when the rest of the squad is playing up to four times as * as he is, and everyone wants his head for it. I feel bad for him, I really do. He doesn't deserve this kind of abuse. If he goes to play in the premiership, I wish him all the best, and will remember how great he was every year, really. And how he tried so hard in the league, albeit with sickness getting in the way of his fitness at some rough spots, to win until it became impossible for us. He'll always be one of my favourite celts.

 

what can i say utter disgrace!an embaresment! Aiden McGeady seems like a right fud! am no having this anymore!ross county? theyve just put more pressure on the board to go and spend money on the right man for the job but at the same time just made no one good want the job! Not just because of today but lennon isnt ready yet! we need a man with a proven track record!

 

Excuse me but the fans can't take the abuse they dish? Maybe the fans who heckle and boo should stop * crying when a player does the same to them. They showed up to abuse the players and get all upset when they get abuse back. * crybabies the lot of them.

 

These supporters care very much mate and to dismiss them as crybabies is poor.

These supporters are the lifeblood of the club, they keep us going.

The players should have just accepted the stick as they were a disgrace during the game, the support is a lot more important to me personally.

@ Celtic Jorge, McGeady couldn't pass the ball today let alone receive a pass from a fellow player, Since january and the arrival of Keane you can see that Keane is ten steps ahead of him, so many times I have been shouting play it now, play it now, and you can see Keane begging for the ball but McGeady ain't at that level! He would rather run on with the ball and put a * cross in.I doubt McGeady would be a hit in the Prem maybe do a job in the Championship for some team but he is getting found out, when things don't go his way he spits the dummy. McGeady played well against Aberdeen on the opening day and against Hearts when we won 2-0 at CP.Other than that he is a drifter.

 

Think the fans that turned up just asked questions of the team,if they were going OTT do you think Lennon would jus stand there and take the abuse???

Questions were asked and some answered with dignity and others jus spat the dummy!

 

Think it's shocking the majority of the abuse was saved for Sammy .. they were All to blame and as * as each other.
