Well, lets hope this shuts all the lennon for Celtic (AKA Mowbray is the man) brigade on this site who keep spouting utter pish about lennon being the man Celtic should appoint,

i like lenny, as a man and a player,...but he * up big style today.... perhaps now you will all come to your senses, he IS NOT THE MAN FOR US.......final! I said three weeks ago that if you appoint Lennon we will win * all...and, once again i am right!:47: we need a top calibre man, who knows the game and has * WON SOMETHING as a manager!...so all of you, and you know who you are....stop it NOW!

i think you're giving yourself a lot of credit right now. this isn't his team. yeah he may not be the right man or whatever but this result in no way proves you are right. * himself could have been manager today with jesus christ as his assistant and that team would not have won. it was the players. not lennon.

Ah, the I told you so brigade have their day in the sun again, careful you might get sunstroke....

Its like you wanted Lennon to fail so you could make a thread like this. You did your "I told you so" routine when Mowbray was sacked too, this attitude is almost as embarrassing as today's defeat and that says something.

fair dinkum buddy...but i have a feeling about him, just like i had a bout Mowbray.....lenny has been a great celt..and i think he deserves a place at the club...but no way on earth should he be manager...and i think you do have to look at today....and remember the fighting with Mcgeadie, the huff after he got subbed in the cup final...and also..for his own sake..his mental health!...nope...lenny is NOT the man!

...if i remember correctly..... you were one of the main mowbray brigade who ridiculed me and my opinion last year.....telling me i was the only one who was against his appointment, when i knew loads of fans who had the foresight to see it was a massive blunder were against it...so i reckon i have the right to WARN everyone...that lenny is not the man....... .i am enraged that a punter like me can predict this...warn about this...yet be unheard and disrespected!...thats it basically.....i will be a parkhead next season, and the one after, but i am NOT HAPPY about this!!..

Maybe you need to dig out that post because I know for a fact that you are putting your spin on it and/or taking it out of context. I know what I said but you clearly dont.

You want be the one to say "I told you so", you rather see the manager fail to have your moment than support them and want them to succeed. There is a big difference between highlighting possible problems and what you are doing.

That is exactly why I was angry when Mowbray was signed in the first place, he got the nod ahead of Bilic because he used to play for Celtic, nevermind the fact that he was a * manager, we have had only 2 managers from outside the UK in our history and they were here for a year each, its time to change that.

wrong wrong wrong....i would have loved to have come on and said..i was wrong and i will eat humble pie (as i did once when mowbray won a game) as long as we won the league and did well...you are putting an infantile spin on what i am saying....i have honor, and when i am wrong, i have the courage to publicly admit it...you do not....you treat other people posts with disrespect....and i would doubt you haver ever admitted you were wrong about anything....i wonder what your next glorious suggestion for celtic will be...mnnnnnnn...i for one...will not be taking it seriously!

oh and you are one of the main 'we need a celtic man in' posters, who are damaging everything our club stands for...who do you want in next...cilla black...cos she is celtic minded!

Not really a hard prediction to make, would you rather everyone went agaisnt him? Started booing him every match? All people are doing is supporting the current manager, we dont decide who the next manager will be, thats up to the board, a decent manager wont come here its hard to accept but its true. This isnt lennys fault, just taking the scraps from Moggas failed disaster team, I would love a proven top class manager to come here but I doubt its going to happen anytime soon

fine...but you have to stop encouraging the board to accept that Lennon is acceptable...you must be able to see he has not got the experience...surely!...there are too many fans happy to accept lenny as our manager...once again blind to the facts, there ARE better candidates out there!

Completely agree with you mate, we need a manager that has proven himself as a good manager with plenty of experience but how are we to sell it to him? "Yeah come to Celtic and manage us, you will take over a team that have about 5 half decent players, about 4m for transfers, debt to sort out, angry fans demanding immediate success but apart from that, it should be * easy"

Nobody has said Lennon is the manager have they ,and did i hear right that Lennon really put the boot into that team today ,good on him ,he is a fan like all us and was a * off as us and he told a few home truths ,he came right out and said what he felt ,probaly didnt go down well with the board but like i said he is a fan.

    Exactly right.
I don't blame Lenny for today's result. I blame the shower of donkey-legged fuckwits he inherited from Mogga, whose post-Christmas Night Of The Long Knives has taken it's final, ugly toll.
