no reason to bring strachan into this. he was great for us but it was clear the way we finished last year it was the right time for us and him for him to move on.
i've backed mowbray on the basis of playing good football but enoughs enough. our heaviest domestic defeat outwith rangers in 30 years against a side without a league win since january? our seventh league defeat of the season? playing a one man midfield for 30 minutes?
i like mowbray as a man but not as celtic manager. i admire his principles and the way he wants to see football being played but in the real world you need to have a better plan b than playing a 3-1-6.
as for a replacement i'd like to see roy hodgson, ottmar hittzfeld, eric gerets or some other continental coach. willie mcstay and neil lennon would do till the end of the season if we identify someone who won't take it until then, or in hittzfelds case after the world cup.

as you know ive been a mogga fan but tonight was the last straw; utter * disgrace, especially because if we had won the Huns would really be under pressure; but at crucial times this year this team has been found wanting and even i cannot defend it anymore

he has to go, appoint lennon as caretaker for the rest of the season and win the cup; this is NOT a knee * reaction, losing 4-0 to st mirren is unforgivable :47::47::47:

Under no circumstances must a celtic manager survive after a four nil gubbing from st mirren job far too big for him he doesnt seem to understand our demand to win regularly do the right thing tony and resign .

Hitzfeld would be a great shout. But would anyone seriously want to manage Celtic anymore? Its a sad state to be in but its true. All i want is a manager, may not have to be a known manager, but someone who can man manage, be tactically aware etc.

Mogga has to go end of. But I disagree with people callin him all the names under the sun. Its out of order.

I turned it over when the 3rd went in and I laughed when I was texted that the 4th went in, I think that says it all really.

I won't rant or moan but I will say I give less of a * now than I did under Strachan yet everyone ranted and raved that we as a support had lost our connection with the side because he was neither a 'Celtic man' nor did he adopt a style of play to appease the supporters.

This season is a washout, the pendulum has taken an almighty swing away from us, we now have a manager who is absolutely devoid of any confidence or strength whatsoever and a squad full of that managers players.

The boad have a couple of decisions to make this coming week if the manager doesn't pre-empt that within the next couple of days.

Peter Grant will really go down in my estimation if he doesnt hand in a letter of resignation at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
If he keeps on drawing a wage while scarves are flying from the stand, I'll be pretty much disgusted.

Potentially 16 points behind the huns BEFORE the split.
A danger of dropping to 3rd place.
    * out the league cup.
Got rid of our top goal scorer.
Got rid of the spine of the team and brought in players that wont be here next season.
Won 52% of all away games this season.
Turned Celtic Park that was once a fortress into a place where any team could come and * a win.
Plays attacking midfielders at left back/right back positions when were chasing a goal.
Chops and changes his team selection week in week out removing any chance of his team building any momentum.
Making our worst manager in history (Barnes) look like a master tactician.
Giving us some of the worst ever embarrassing defeats in our history.

Oh..he also caused this forum to crash with so many bemused members on at once!

    NOT GOOD ENOUGH
    DO THE DECENT THING TONY...GO!

He simply has to go. He cannot survive a 4-0 defeat to St Mirren. * Martin O'Neil's jacket would've been on a shaky peg after that, never mind after the season we're having.

The board have no choice. I expect this to be done before the game on Saturday.
