If you are a Celtic fan , and I mean a fan who lives and breathes Celtic , as opposed to the Celtic fan who spends more time worrying about the huns then you'd know that we conceded 4 goals to Aberdeen little over a month ago , did the same to them the previous season , and Strachan started his league managemnt with us in a 4-4 draw with Motherwell.

 

I can't see how anyone can defend TM now after that embarrassing ,disjointed display. That game summed up the whole season for me. I was for giving TM time to sort things out but now realise he hasn't got a clue, his team selection,tactics,motivation skills are Nil.
The board must realise they have made a huge *-up appointing him and have to do something now,we need to win the cup and make sure we finish in second place which is doubtful at the moment with this * in charge.
DAMAGE LIMITATION for the rest of this season and we are not even at the split.

 

Crosas should have been on instead of McGowan

Fortune should have been on instead of Samaras

Hinkel (our best player btw) should have been on ahead of Wilson

and Boruc should have been back in goal

and to top it all McGeady gets slotted into Left back to see out the game.

a man who now says it might be time to change the style of play to suit different games is not what you want in charge. i thought a manager did that for every game from the start of the season?

i have said it often enough, in scotland you must win the right to play football and that means overpowering the 10 behind the ball merchants and then let the sweet football flow. win first and if we get up on our feet to cheer exquisite flowing passing football as a result of this then fine and dandy, until such time though, lets win the battle first!

too late for this season and it will have catastrophic effects on our finances due to lack of top european participation, coupled with last seasons capitulation we have saved the huns! those guys wearing the hoops leave me totally underwhelmed and there is not one of them on a permanent contract who causes real excitement with a real proper end product. i guess it is nice to see keane but we are rank rotten lead by a weakling.

I'm not one for slating the manager, and until now I've said he should get more time, but this is definitely the straw that broke the camels back!! A few times he's made silly decisions that haven't worked out and raised a few eyebrows, but before kick off i mentioned that the line-up was a strange one and i didn't think that we would get the win....... but was not expecting that, too many players that didn't look bothered and the manager looked the same!! hate to praise them but the huns have a number of players who will kick punch and fight for a win, who do we have that'll do that??

 

I thought Utd were 8 points behind - are you sure it's only 1? I'm sure it's 8 and 1 game in hand mate.

and i think its clear that he's not good enough , but to insult the man is way over the line. Hes a celtic fan , was the celtic captain and made the huddle , yes he should be sacked but there really is no need to insult the poor guy. I mean how many of us would turn down the celtic job ?

i think he may have worded it wrong. We have not lost a game by a 4 goal deficit from an SPL team by more than 4 goals. Last game in the SPL we LOST by 4 was the mank 5-1 in MON 1st season I'm sure.

i like mowbray, seems a genuine and decent fella but his time at celtic is up.. all the best to you mowbray but celtic was just a bit too big for you...

I would be surprised if he didnt walk tomorrow.If he has an ounce of decency in him he will.If he doesnt walk i sincerely hope the board let him go.Surely they can see that enough is enough.Tonight is the first time i saw him taking responsibility for the pathetic excuse of tactics.I hope that was his final attempt at sticking up for the players before he goes.

A 4-0 loss is totally unacceptable no matter what team you manage. Credit where credit is due though St Mirren played well and played as a unit (which is something we seem incapble of). As for us i have no idea what we played like.I didn't see a team out there tonight.That was a bunch of heartless, gutless players who clearly dont understand what it means to play for celtic.

In all my years as a tic fan i have genuinely never felt so embarrased.The dark side will be loving all this. We have over the course of mowbrays time here become a total laughing stock.Teams no longer fear playing us.Instead teams see us as almost easy pickings due to the non existant defending. We sorely missed hinkel tonight.

As for the rest of this season i just cant bring myself to travel 300+ miles to watch the home games now.Its a long way to go to watch a manager and his players give nothing in return.
