I know his name is said all the time for most vacant jobs but what about David O'Leary.

Hasn't been with a club for a few years now, Celtic might seem like an attractive place to start again. Tested to a good premier league standard and has European knowledge having taken Leeds through the UEFA cup and quarter finals of the Champions League.

Could be a viable replacement, but then again we're in no rush!

Who's to say the next manager should be a known manager? I had never heard of Wim Jansen for a start. So who's to say the next guy isn't from europe, someone we don't know much about but is qualified enough for the job. Coz that is all we want isn't it? The BEST guy for the job.
Working with youth, small budget, knows how to win, tactically aware, eye for a bargain.

Eh Neil Lennon ,the reason being ,he has a foot in the door already and if he can work with these players and does well with them ,why not.

Dont say he isnt ready ,the board have put there trust in him to a job and if he does it wouldnt surprise me if he got it long term.

As I said last summer we should Push the boat out for Otmar Hitsfield, and if poss have Lambert or lennon as his wing men.
If Coyle, Hughes or Martinez is in the frame we are in big trouble

Sad but true fact, don't think most of the EPL managers would come to Celtic, they'll get more money, better players & a better league staying where they are.
Fulham have had a great season, so really can't see it.

who ever it is the thing that will please me more if he dont rate any of our players,
we have suffered aiden long enough so its time we got rid, failing to do so will lead to us having the same old style of crap foot ball, i want players that will put there head where it will hurt at corners and ball passers no maradonas just workers that the sweat come off there faces when in the hoops jersey
    no a smile

would've loved to have seen Alan Curbishley in charge until end of season see what he's made of...

his record at Charlton was more than decent considering the resources and players he had...

I'd go along with that kennydal, fact is he's more ready to take over at Celtic than super sally is at greayskull anyday......give the guy a shot, after all he had the greatest mentor in Martin O'Neill.

I wish folk would forget Lambert, he's already stated he's not interested anf if that's his stance then surely we can forget him just as quick as he wants to forget us..........Lennon and Lubo for me.

My gut feeling is there won't be a good enough manager available in Britain.

Wouldn't mind expanding our horizons a little and getting someone foreign but I think this time experience is a must. Our 2 most inexperienced managers (Barnes/TM) have been our worst... There must be up and coming Dutch, German or well, any continentals who have a desire for Champions League football?
