Right firstly ive had this particular season book for 11years, im 28 and supported the tic from about 4 year old. I am working over in holland at the moment and attended the feyenoord match last night against vitesse <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">arnhem</st1:place></st1:City> last night . * game got abandoned at HT due to water logged pitch.yes thats right our henrik, pvh, petta, loovens n regi blinkers auld mob. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
It was a meaningless game for them as they are 19 points adrift in fourth place in the eridivise, it was a stormy night, yet it was nearly a full house , 52 k capacity, they where singing ynwa, place was bouncing. They had 3 different sections of singing fans going mental. How the * can we not have that. Thought we are amazing fans? We have all the hardcore singing like mad at away games and rebel nights. We need all the hardcore in the 1 area, and behind a goal not up in the corner at the heavens. Ghod bless the mob up in 444 etc singing but we need to be lower tier behind the goals. Singing win lose or draw. All the diehards in unison and in one area.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
Yes we are all * off at the current situation, but we are meant to be supporters win lose or draw, truth is most of the punters in parkhead are glory hunting spectators, and not supporters. Do my nut in, you know who you are.. imagine supporting a mid table mob like motherwell for example.. never in <st1:place w:st="on">europe</st1:place>, no glory hardly in your history. Look at all the joy glasgow celtic has given to us in our history, we have amassed over 90 honours in our 122 year history , thats not far off 1 trophy ever year since we were born. Look at your <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">newcastle</st1:place></st1:City>'s of this world , fanatical fans, top attendances and they have less than 15 honours in their history and btw they have and hee haw for nearly 60 year, well an intertoto cup in 2006 but camonnnn!! Us best fans in the world.. my *.. absolute joke.!!!! We have won 14 trophies in the 2000's as opposed to 4 in the 90's. Oh we all remeber the 90's <o:p></o:p>
    <o:p></o:p>
I am hurting like the rest of you;s but look in the mirror, your the lifeblood of this club, your part of something special and unique. Rangers arent that good, theyr not exactly in a position to pull away from us. remember the 9 in a row days?? not so long ago eh.. that was hard times.. If you cant bring yourself to support the team, then dont come to the games, dont need negative vibes that you bring.. look at paul lamberts old team borrusia <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">dortmund</st1:place></st1:City> last night 80,000 sell out , 4th in the league.. thats real punters.. That stadia is packed to the rafters regardless of their leageu position. Why? because they love theri club no matter what.. time we done the same. rangers are frikkn loving all this unrest in our camp and these phoney celtic fans are not helping. Keep the faith people... through and through... let the people sing.. jokey7 CSC<o:p></o:p>

Probably because a lot of people at Parkhead these days have no genuine passion for the club. The stewarding doesn't help either with people who are trying to create an atmosphere being treated like criminals.

This is another thing , prices for tickets in Scotland is a complete joke compared to prices in places like Germany and Holland. A ticket for Hamilton away cost me £25. Something has to be done about this.

I cannot afford these prices. Especially for my age, your looking at a good 60 quid for an away trip. £25 to go to Hamilton is an absoloute farce mate. A didnt realise it was that bad. Makes me sick. I cannot be spending money on that - but i want to- but not for that price.

I AGREE WITH THE PRICES BHOYS. IT IS A JOKE, AND NEEDS LOOKED AT.HAVING SAID THAT, MY FEYENOORD TICKET WAS 40 EURO LAST NIGHT, BUT THE GERMANS IS CHEAPER SO FAIR PLAY. I KNOW ITS A RECESSION BUT WHAT ABOUT NEAR FULL HOUSES WHEN ST MART WAS HERE, THE TICKETS WE'RNT THAT MUCH CHEAPER THEN LADS. AS PER NEWCASTLE, I MEANT THEY ARE IN THE 1ST DIVSION AND THEY ARE STILL PULLING BETTER ATTENDANCES THAN US, SO THAT IS NOT RIGHT.. FACT!!!

THING IS NICK, WE HAVE THOUSANDS COMING FROM IRELAND , AND A MASSIVE SUPPORT SCOTLAND WIDE, THE FAN BASE IS DEFO THERE, BUT THE FANS ARE DESSERTING THE TEAM BECAUSE THE CHIPS ARE DOWN. YES TIMES ARE HARD FINANCIALLY MATE.. BUT.... OUR FOES ACROSS IN GOVAN ARE PULLING IN AT LEAST A 90% ATTENDANCE AT THEIR LEAGUE HOME MATCHES. THESE GUYS ARE PROB OUR WORK MATES, OR PEOPLE IN THE SAME JOBS WHO EARN ABOUT THE SAME WAGE, SO THEY ARE STILL GOING.. MY POINT.. THE MAJORITY ARE TOTAL GLORY HUNTERS.. OUT OF ORDER.. DO YOU AGREE?

The OP does make a very valid point, and credit where credit is due, has offered some positive constructive criticism, particularly in relation to the suggestion of relocating the singing sections. I think that could be a real winner.

Aye well a wish that we could have as solid base of 50,000 though cp is bigger and it looks more empty than ibrox these days when there isn't much difference.

I think the only way forward is to get all the singing sections into one area, behind the goal for example. Until then I don't think much will happen.

I think the singing section area allocated needs to be looked at. I feel it’s up in the heavens and isn’t as effective as it could be. Behind either of the goals would be a much more effective location. Look at the Kop for example or the likes of Feyenoord. They are behind the goals, and can generate a great atmosphere.

We all complain that everyone is sitting away from mates etc and the atmosphere at the club is flat. The club should be looking to launch a campaign of relocation that will magnetise all the hardcore fans who want to sit together and belt out our songs. This will not only make the matchday experience but hopefully charge up the players on the field of play.

Fair play to the bhoy’s up in 444 but I don’t think its ever really took off. Also ticketing prices and stewarding policy’s need to be looked at. What do you think guys?? Any ideas?

You don't realise this, the muppets that run our club don't want hardcore fans and all that, its too much hassle for them and they don't want people to enjoy themselves that way.

Stewards and police are a joke aswell these days!!

fair point mate, if that is the case, they have a cheek to bemoan the lack of atmosphere and I wonder why the ever put their weight behind the singing section of 444, so there must be something in it. Having said that, it seems the stewards are * bent on antagonising the fans who do want to chant.. so it something that needs adressed.

Surely the board and hierarchy can see the fans are voting with their feet. So 1. reduce ticket prices and create incentive scheme's. 2. look at their stewarding policy's and 3. Start a campaign for a new singing section behind one of the goals. Really promote it and encourage all the real celtic fans who;m want to be heard to get into a certain area. 444 is just too high ad out the road. Meanwhile all the banners that the jungle bhoys produce behind the goals are first class and we need to be in there to back it up with our voices in that same area.
