you forgot to mention hes scored 13 altogether , in all competions , he hast scored in europe at all this year so yeah dungs maybe harsh he hasnt exactly been great , 13 in 23 is his record which for him is dissapointing

 

Your man has another 2 goals today so far. I think that's 32 this season. He is having some season.

Messi was just awsome last night

 

Now it's confirmed, Messi read this thread last week. He has 8 (!) goals in 4 (!) matches. *!?!? That's just an unreal number for a winger. And whoever said Messi doesn't track back is BSing. Just because he's tiny and plays for a finesse club doesn't mean he doesn't track back. He and Henry were pressuring Stuttgart defenders all match and he has a very specific role within Barca's team defense, which is absolutely stifling.

Anybody that think Rooneys even in the same calibure as Messi are purely influenced by the english press/media or only watch English football.

It was ridiculous. At the end when the game was won you could tell he was going for the hat-trick and everybody was playing along. He had the ball once and skipped around all four Stuttgart defenders before chipping Lehman only to have it go wide. He also had a header barely saved by Lehman. His first goal was insane... a screamer to the top left corner.

hes changing my mind over the last few games , and mick cfc i dont think rooneys good because im being "influened' by the english media i think hes right up there because i watch every game he plays and hes been awsome, but yeah messi is the best atm , im happy with rooney being second anyway

 

I think Rooneys good but he just isnt anywhere near Messi but to be honest I think theres Ronaldo Villa Torres and Drogba are as good if not better than Rooney.
